At first I was smh thinking, "please no, not another singing talent competition" but wow, did this one set a new standard for reality talent shows.
For starters, this is a no-nonsense 'don't have to wait an entire season for one winner' competition. I like how each episode has one winner who's song gets launched instantly.
What makes this show great is that thus far, every single winner is a hit song for me! It's great to have different songwriters and artists for each episode, as it's an entirely new show each time. You simply cannot get bored watching this, and the fact you see results of great talent instantly, this show is a huge winner for me and sets a new standard as far as I'm concerned.
Huge props to Scott Borchetta for something new, refreshing and entertaining. A well deserving 9/10 from me, and looking forward to more seasons and more great talent discovered along the way.
