Rufus jokes that smuggler/racer Wendell Scott made the Fall Creek run "...in less than 12 parsecs." This is a reference to the famous Han Solo line from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) about the Kessel Run. Wendell also has hidden cargo compartments in his car for smuggling that Wyatt and Lucy have to hide in at one point, much like Han Solo did.

Goofs
Keynes mentions having printed out all of Wikipedia. As of this episode's airing (March 2018), it would require 2600 bound volumes of 500 pages each to do this (filling about 13 tall bookshelves).

Pretty decent

Another great episode that is nicely building up. Timeless has successfully managed to move beyond the face off with Flynn to an even bigger conspiracy that involves Rittenhouse. Using previous stories they have weaved together an even more interesting premise and tied previous events together.

This great show manages to even make car racing interesting. One of the enduring wins is the very likeable characters and chemistry between the three. I think they should hold off on the inevitable romance between Wyatt and Lucy for a while. The ongoing vibes but greater focus on the mission, internal conflicts and challenges make for better writing and episodes.

Once again I can't wait for next week's episode.
