Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that on Tuesday, December 3 Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) solidified their romance by hopping into bed together. Claire isn’t as experienced in the love department as Kyle is, and she admitted to her new boyfriend that this was her “first time” doing the deed.
As Kyle lays the charm on thick, sweet Claire is falling head over heels in love. Still, Y&r fans feel as if they’ve seen this story before, and the ending wasn’t so great. With Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) nose out of joint over Kylaire’s new bond, and a love triangle on the horizon, will Claire end up getting hurt?

Stephen Amell, known for his roles in Arrow and Heels, is stepping into a new role that’s a whole lot less ‘heroic’ and more about high-stakes legal drama. But wait, he’s likely raking in a serious paycheck while doing it.
We just got treated with the first teaser for the highly anticipated Suits: L.A., and it has the unmistakable energy of the original Suits series. In fact, the teaser opens with the same iconic Suits theme song, Greenback Boogie, setting the stage for yet another fast-paced, drama-filled ride.

Amell stars as Ted Black, a former prosecutor turned entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles—a far cry from his previous roles. The teaser gives us a sneak peek of Ted in action, and if that doesn’t get you excited, consider the fact that the Heels actor is likely raking in a pretty hefty paycheck for his performance.

Exclusive: Poppy Liu and Chris Bauer have joined the cast of Netflix’s Limited Series His & Hers in recurring roles. They will star opposite series lead and EP Tessa Thompson. Production is set to begin this fall.
The six-episode limited series from William Oldroyd and adapted from Alice Feeney’s novel is set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta where Anna (Thompson) lives in haunting reclusivity and is fading away from her friends and career as a journalist. But when she overhears about a murder in Dahlonega – the sleepy town where she grew up – she is snapped back to life, pouncing on the case and searching for answers. Detective Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal) is strangely suspicious of her involvement, chasing her into the crosshairs of his own investigation. There are two sides to every story, his and hers, which means someone is always lying.

Marvel Studios recently released the first trailer for Thunderbolts* - you can read our breakdown here - but an official project profile for the movie shared by Disney reveals two unexpected casting additions.
The first is Chris Bauer, a prolific actor who has delivered memorable turns in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, For All Mankind, and Heels among many other projects. There's no word on who he's playing but we'd bet on it being a villain given what a great antagonist he's made in previous roles.
The bigger surprise is the addition of Wendell Pierce; the actor, who has more critically acclaimed performances to his name than we have room to list here, is perhaps known best for his work in The Wire.
However, he's also shown up in the likes of Jack Ryan, Suits, and Clemency. Pierce has been cast as The Daily Planet's Editor in Cheif, Perry White in James Gunn's Superman,...

The small town of Duffy, Georgia, has always centered around one thing: professional wrestling. For decades, thespians like Tom “King” Spade thrilled crowds at the Duffy Dome. Though his charisma lit up the ring, money was scarce. Still, Tom’s sons Jack and Ace grew up enamored by the sport. Now adults, they’ve inherited their father’s legacy—for better or worse.
The Starz series Heels follows the brothers as they run the Duffy Wrestling League. Season 1 explored their rivalry while keeping the promotion afloat. Then tragedy struck; Tom took his own life, leaving big questions. Season 2 sees Jack and Ace still grappling with their father’s ghost. The league has momentum, yet cracks emerge. Outside the ropes, personal demons loom large.
By delving into the characters’ pasts, Heels shines a light on what shaped this close-knit community. Flashbacks reveal the Spades’ complex bond, formed in this atmosphere of fleeting fame and fickle fortune.

“Heels” is now officially streaming both of its seasons on Netflix, giving the former Starz series a chance to capture a much bigger audience than it ever had before.
In an interview with Variety, series creator Michael Waldron joked that he and the show’s team would frequently discuss what it would be like if the show had debuted on Netflix originally.

The wrestling drama Heels delves into the complex bond between two brothers thrust together in their father’s small-town wrestling league. After their dad’s passing, Jack Spade takes charge of the struggling Duffy Wrestling League in Duffy, Georgia. He plays the villainous “heel” in the ring while penning twisted stories. Younger brother Ace shines as the heroic “babyface” but dreams of escaping their sleepy burg.
Tension simmers between the siblings with differing visions for the promotion and their lives. Jack sees Dwl as his legacy, crucial for providing for his family. Ace yearns for fame beyond their backyard circuits. As the brothers grapple inside the ropes and out, we glimpse their rocky reality beneath the pageantry.
Starz’ Heels immerses us in this gritty sporting world. But it’s the emotionally charged kinship at its core that hooks us. Watching Jack and Ace’s relationship shift hold-by-hold keeps us hooked till the final bell.

Kelli Berglund was heartbroken when Heels was canceled last year by Starz after two seasons. The scrappy drama centered on the world of pro wrestling and the sacrifices needed to make it. Along with Spade brothers Jack (Stephen Amell) and Ace (Alexander Ludwig), the talented ensemble cast included Berglund’s Crystal Tyler. She wanted to be more than just eye candy within the fictional Duffy Wrestling League and to succeed within a male-dominated industry. Now Netflix is bringing the series to their massive streaming platform on September 15, and the hope is her story and others may continue. History has proven that a groundswell of support could bring a show back from the dead. Berglund is certainly ready to lace up the boots once again if that is the case. Here the actress opens up about playing the character, a recent cast reunion, and her hopes for the show’s future.

Just when fans thought Heels was down for the count, like any good pro wrestling story, there is the comeback. Hopes for Season 3 were bodyslammed by Starz when it canceled the drama in September 2023. Fast forward a year later and the first two seasons are finding a home on Netflix starting September 15. This opens the door for more eyes on the show, which may ignite a groundswell of demand for more. At the center of the story are Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig as brothers Jack and Ace Slade who butt heads when it comes to continuing their late dad’s promotion Duffy Wrestling League and legacy in Georgia. When the network axed Heels, it was no doubt a punch to the guts for showrunner Mike O’Malley. The veteran actor who plays the excentric Florida Wrestling Dystopia owner Charlie Gully shared a deep-rooted passion with others attached to the series.

Starz president of programming Kathryn Busby believes “there’s no set answer” to a media company’s success amid a contracted Hollywood marketplace. But for the premium cable network and streamer, an adults-only identity helps keep its slate focused as competitors struggle to define their strategies with less money to spend on new shows.
Like many Hollywood distributors, Starz has made tough calls to adjust to industry changes. The network recently canceled a number of original series — including the Stephen Amell-led “Heels,” and comedies “Blindspotting,” “Run the World” and “Minx” — to prepare for a planned separation from its parent company Lionsgate that will be official by the end of this year.
Still the network’s upcoming slate is full of promising originals, including the Shailene Woodley-led limited series “Three Women” (which it picked up after Showtime dropped it from their slate); a new talk show hosted by rapper...

Heels Season 1 hit our screens for the first time in 2021. It chronicled the story of the Spade brothers – Jack and Ace portrayed by Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig, who are working to keep their father’s independent wrestling promotion afloat after his death. Vikings star Alexander Ludwig famously labeled his experience of filming Heels as “painful.”
Seasons 1 and 2 had a lot going for it.

Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig‘s wrestling series Heels was canceled by Starz after two seasons, but there’s a chance the show might have extra life.
It was just announced that Netflix has acquired nonexclusive rights to the first two seasons of the show and will soon stream all 16 episodes that have already aired.
So, what does this mean for a season three?
Keep reading to find out more…
The Hollywood Reporter says that “while Netflix has not renewed the series, the streamer could wind up doing so should Heels perform well on the platform.”
So basically, if enough people watch Heels seasons one and two once they’re added to Netflix, the streamer might order a third season.
It might be tough to get a third season though with Stephen and Alexander both moving on to other shows. It definitely looks like Stephen is excited though. See his reaction below!

Heels has nailed its landing after Starz canceled the series in 2023. Netflix and Lionsgate Worldwide Television Distribution Group have agreed to a licensing agreement for the two seasons of critically-acclaimed drama from Mike O’Malley.
Deadline has learned there is an option for a third season, but that all depends on the availability of stars Stephen Amell, who booked the lead role in the Suits spinoff, and Alexander Ludwig, who’s toplining Earth Abides for MGM+. A spokesman for Lionsgate declined to comment.
Heels revolves around the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small-town pro wrestling. Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals (Amell and Ludwig) war over their late father’s legacy. In the ring, somebody must play the good guy and somebody must play their nemesis, the heel. But in the real world, those...

Heels might be headed back to the ring.
The drama, which was unceremoniously canceled along with a couple more series as Starz cleaned house in September, has been licensed to Netflix by Lionsgate Worldwide Television Distribution. With the acquisition, Netflix will have non-exclusive rights to the two-season, 16-episode library of the wrestling drama starring Stephen Amell (Arrow) and Alexander Ludwig (Vikings).
Sources also note that while Netflix has not renewed the series, the streamer could wind up doing so should Heels perform well on the platform. Those same sources also caution that a third season, even in success, could still be a logistical challenge. Amell — a die-hard wrestling fan who often would perform his own stunts on Heels — signed on in February as the lead in NBC’s highly anticipated spinoff of Suits. The offshoot of the former USA Network original is one of but five pilots in the works at NBC.
