Joe Rogan is heading back on stage for another comedy special – and with “Burn the Boats,” he’s doing it live on Netflix.

The comedian and podcast host plans to shoot his third special for the streamer live on Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio, Texas. His last previous two specials on Netflix were “Joe Rogan: Strange Times” in 2018 and “Joe Rogan: Triggered” in 2016.

Rogan’s special is the latest live event Netflix hosted after “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage,” “The Roast of Tom Brady” and “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA.”

Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan will return to stand-up in Netflix comedy special Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats, Netflix announced Tuesday. The comedy special marks Rogan’s first special on the streamer in six years. Rogan’s previous Netflix specials include 2016’s Joe Rogan: Triggered and 2018’s Joe Rogan: Strange Times.

The controversial podcaster is launching a live special, Joe Rogan: Burn The Boats, on Netflix next month.

It marks the latest live stand-up special for the streamer, which started moving into live specials with Chris Rock last year.

The special will air on August 3 at 7pm Pt.

It marks Rogan’s third stand-up special for Netflix, having launched Triggered in 2016 and Strange Times in 2018. He also previously made Rocky Mountain High for Comedy Central as well as previous specials including Talking Monkeys In Space and Live from the Tabernacle.

It comes after Rogan, who hosts the popular The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, renewed his deal with Spotify earlier this year.
