Peacock has announced the lineup of movies, TV shows, and live sports that will be available on the streaming service in November. The Peacock November 2024 schedule includes The Day of the Jackal, starring Eddie Redmayne as a highly elusive assassin who meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch).

For true crime aficionados, Making Manson unearths new revelations in the story behind one of history’s most infamous criminals – in his own words. Plus, the dark comedic thriller Based on a True Story, starring Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina, makes a killer return for season 2.

Also this month, four girlfriends take a girl’s trip to Vietnam in the new unscripted series​​​​​​​ Eat Slay Love, where the spirituality, hospitality, and beauty of Vietnam help the ladies heal from heartache, strengthen friendships, and reevaluate their priorities back at home.

Prime Video has a fair amount in store for subscribers in November, as the uber-violent hit animated show Invincible returns for its highly anticipated second season. Based on the iconic comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, season two will find super-powered protagonist Mark attempting to rebuild his life after finding out the truth about his father Nolan.

Elsewhere on the streamer, the producing team behind the James Bond movies are out to spin the franchise in a completely different direction by debuting their curious new globe-trotting adventure series, pitched somewhere between a quiz show and a treasure hunt. 007: Road To A Million features Brian Cox as the game’s “mastermind”, watching over the contestants as they try to win a million quid.

Back in 1986, director Jim Wynorski brought us the cult classic Chopping Mall (watch it Here, check out our Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? episode on the film Here), which was about the robots that have been tasked with serving as the security guards in a shopping mall going on a killing spree. The original title for that movie was Killbots, and a while back it was announced that Wynorski was going to be directing a new movie called Killbots for Full Moon. It would have nothing to do with Chopping Mall, it was just going to be using that discarded original title. Well, the title plans changed along the way. The Wynorski / Full Moon project is now called Murderbot – and you can watch the trailer in the embed above!

Murderbot is scheduled to be released through the Full Moon Features streaming service on March 31st.

Howard Hesseman, a prolific character actor who became a beloved TV mainstay through his roles on sitcoms “Wkrp in Cincinnati” and “Head of the Class,” died Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles of complications from colon surgery he had undergone last summer. He was 81 years old.

Hesseman’s death was confirmed to Variety by his longtime rep Robbie Kass.

“Howard was a groundbreaking talent and lifelong friend whose kindness and generosity was equaled by his influence and admiration to generations of actors and improvisational comedy throughout the world,” Kass stated.

Born in Lebanon, Ore. on Feb. 27, 1940, Hesseman became a counterculture favorite as he ascended into the world of entertainment in the late 1960’s. In 1965, he joined the improvisational comedy troupe The Committee in San Francisco, serving as a performing member for 10 years. Christmas in July will return to Hallmark bringing Crashing Through The Snow, starring Amy Acker and Warren Christie, to the lineup.

The annual summer movie celebration will kick off Friday, July 9 and will run until Sunday, July 31. Crashing Through The Snow will make its Hallmark debut Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. The film centers on Maggie (Acker), who joins her ex-husband Jeff (Kristian Brunn) and his girlfriend Kate (Brooke Nevin) for a Christmas getaway in Aspen, where she meets Kate’s brother, Sam (Warren Christie).

Crashing Through the Snow is from Through the Snow Pictures Inc. Stan Spry, Eric Woods and Ryan M. Murphy are executive producers. Anthony Fankhauser is co-executive producer.

This year’s lineup will also include a 2020 Movie Marathon, Soap Sunday and Countdown to Christmas Greatest Hits, which will feature holiday movies including The Christmas Ring and Crown for Christmas.

As reported by ABC News, Chevy Chase has recently checked into rehab for “an alcohol-related issue.” He’ll be at the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota for what a rep is calling a “tune-up,” with a TMZ report adding that Chase “wants to be the best that he can be.” Chase previously underwent a rehab stint back in the ‘80s, checking into the famous Betty Ford Clinic to recover from a painkiller addiction.

Chase has two movies in the works, Dog Years and The Christmas Apprentice, with IMDb saying that the former is still filming. Also, a bit of Chase’s backstory will be explored in director David Wain’s A Futile And Stupid Gesture, which is a biopic about National Lampoon co-founder Douglas Kenney. Chase will be played by his old Community co-star Joel McHale, and he’s surprisingly fine with it.

Chase checked himself in for an alcohol-related issue which his rep calls a "tune-up," adding that the actor "wants to be the best that he can be."

He previously received addiction treatment at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California in the '80s, according to The New York Times.

The 72-year-old's latest project, 'Dog Years,' in which he stars alongside Burt Reynolds, is currently being filmed. Another upcoming project, 'The Christmas Apprentice,' has already wrapped.
