Lesbian Fantasy

I enjoyed Mile High's compendium "Love & Romance", dipping into the catalog for 25 excellent scenes from Nica Noelle's (plus a smidgen of successor James Avalon's work) Sweet Sinner videos. They played well, and even had something of an intro often to set the stage.

But this identical-concept 25 scenes from stablemate Sweetheart Video's work by Nica and Dana Vespoli plays as wall-to-wall Lesbian sex, rendered pointless by the lifting from each scene's original feature. Nearly all the vignettes seem to start "in progress": smooching & humping for its own sake.

My takeaway is simple: however time-consuming it may be, it is always preferable to watch the original feature rather than a chunk, latter being the fashionable mode in this streaming-video era. Binge watching is popular too - fans of Lesbian cinema might want to challenge themselves to 130 or so volumes of Girlfriends' hit "Women Seeking Women" series: that would only mean watching non-stop for about 15 days straight.

The best use of "Lesbian Fantasy" might be as an introduction to top talent in the field, as the pickers at Mile High have showcased most of the superstars but also plenty of sweet young things who have made a name for themselves in the gay for pay genre. Sensing my criticism in advance, there is a bias towards Sweetheart material that was not feature-oriented in the first place, namely the "So and so Loves Girls" series in which a superstar like Julia Ann or Asa Akira picks some beauties and humps them - no characterizations necessary. That is unfortunately the future of porn, or should I say already its current state writ Large.
