Taylor Swift has conquered the world of music, and it's long been rumored that the next step in her career is the movies.
She has her own eponymous production company, for one. In 2020, she starred in the documentary "Miss Americana," and in 2021, she directed a short film adapting her song "All Too Well," starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien. Aside from a handful of supporting roles in several films, she also took the 2023 box office by storm with the "Eras Tour" concert film.
Swift has a passionate fanbase, one that is famous for finding (or creating) supposedly hidden messages across her lyrics. Now, her newly released 11th album, "The Tortured Poets Department," has whipped up a new Swiftie theory.
The last track of "The Tortured Poets Department" — "Clara Bow" — concludes with the line: "The future's bright and dazzling." Fans jumped to the obvious conclusion; of course, Swift is hinting to...

Shonda Rhimes took a moment to reflect on meeting Taylor Swift for the first time in her Grey’s Anatomy office before her song, “White Horse,” was used at the beginning of season five of the hit ABC series.
In a conversation with People for its special Grey’s issue, the showrunner recalled when the Grammy-winning artist came by her office and performed her popular song, “Love Story,” in 2008.
“I remember she was an interesting artist,” Rhimes told the publication. “It’s so funny because, back then, she showed up in my office with bare feet. She went off and played ‘Love Story’ and was like, ‘I really love your show.’ I had no idea who she was. I was like, ‘This kid’s adorable. Like, I love this song. The song was really good.’”

The Walking Dead: Dead City follows Maggie, played by Cohan, and Negan, played by Morgan as they travel into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. In the episode of "The X-Files" called "Bad Blood," Agents Scully (Gillian Anderson) and Mulder (David Duchovny) have to get their story straight after Mulder murders a young man (Patrick Renna) believing him to be a vampire. Know immediately that "Bad Blood" is one of the rare comedy episodes of "The X-Files," and that it is deeply beloved by X-Philes the world over. Indeed, /Film listed it as the best episode of the series, replacing the show's usual funereal tone with one of whimsy. This is an episode wherein Mulder, when knocked in the head, uncontrollably begins singing "Theme from Shaft."
"Bad Blood" is told in a pair of flashbacks, telling slightly different versions of the same event, "Rashomon"-style. Scully recalls investigating a series of mysterious cattle exsanguinations in Texas and is careful to relate Mulder's behavior as cavalier and condescending. She also notes that there was no evidence of vampires.

Deadpool: Badder Blood has taken Rob Liefeld on a long road. The writer and artist crafted the opening pages in late 2017 — but then he and Marvel agreed to detour to other things — including work celebrating anniversaries of Deadpool and X-Force.
All along, Liefeld has kept the ideas for Badder Blood alive. And nearly six years later, the first of five issues is finally in comic book shops.
Badder Blood is a sequel to Deadpool: Bad Blood, which broke ground by showing Wade Wilson (Aka Deapdool) as a middle schooler, setting up a friendship between Wade and a boy who eventually would become the antagonist Thumper later in life.
The series heavily features Thumper, who gained his powers by attempting to follow in Wade Wilson’s footsteps in the Weapon X program. In Badder Blood, he has become such a big threat that it will require an assortment of characters to help contain him.

A candid Eras Tour moment is currently going viral. During a Philadelphia concert on May 13, Taylor Swift appeared to defend a concertgoer from security - all while performing "Bad Blood," mind you. "She's fine," Swift said after seeing a fan presumably get reprimanded. "She wasn't doing anything," she said, turning to continue with the song before noticing the guard still hadn't let up. "Hey! Stop," she shouted, finally catching the guard's attention.
The fan in question, a longtime Swiftie named Kelly, later shared her side of the story in a video posted her friend's TikTok account. "Basically the guard had been harassing our group all night," she said. "He just kept telling us not to touch the rail and any time we did anything, he was on top of us." She added that the security guard was later escorted out himself, and that her entire group was offered free tickets...

“I think I’m Kanye mixed with Donny Hathaway,” raps Stormzy on the title track of his third album, This is What I Mean. There’s definitely a touch of the troubled West’s ambitious alchemy to the track, which pirouettes from a pretty piano intro (think child’s ballet rehearsal) into an elating, bass-blast of braggadocio, given dramatic ballast with operatic backing vocals.
But there’s really more of Hathaway to Croydon-born grime star. Not just because of the jazzy warmth with which this album leans into its soulful balladry. It’s there in the rich, stable sincerity of his vocals. Like Hathaway, 29-year-old Michael Owou Jr has a voice that can reach through the darkness and steady your heart. Even if you didn’t know that Stormzy’s the kind of national treasure who invests in scholarship schemes to support Black kids through Cambridge University, his decency feels embedded in his frequency.

In 1993, FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) left their basement office and entered the darkness to investigate a plethora of diverse and nightmarish creatures. Inspired by old-school shows like "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," the Fox series embraced the strange, unusual, and, at times, the downright absurd, which TV audiences devoured for 25 years.
After 11 seasons and 2 feature films, "The X-Files" officially came to an end (at least for now) in 2018. When a long-running series, like "The X-Files," offers such an expansive catalog of creeps, it can be difficult to choose a small list of favorites, but one of the show's stars managed to do just that.
Back in December of 2017, Bloody Disgusting reported that a month before the long-awaited 11th season debuted, the official X-Files Twitter live-streamed six of Anderson's favorite episodes. Let's discuss Scully's top picks and why...

In my opinion, this will be between three videos: Harry Styles’s “As It Was,” Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s “Industry Baby,” and Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well.” The first has the advantage of being the biggest hit of the year as well as the longest running number-one out of the lineup (10 weeks in the top spot), not to mention the fact that Styles has a lot of fans.

Vince Gilligan’s sole script on the 2005 ‘Night Stalker’ reboot is the perfect stepping stone between the writer’s two television universes.
“There are countless stories in the city, about the lives lived here, about how the fates of others intertwine with our own in ways we can never expect or predict.”
The X-Files was one of the most significant cultural touchstones to come out of the 1990s and it forever changed the shape of genre storytelling on television. Breaking Bad and its prequel spin-off series, Better Call Saul, have very much done the same for television in the 2010s and ‘20s, albeit in very different ways. Vince Gilligan is the common factor between these completely unique worlds, but he also wrote a single episode of 2005’s reboot of the totemic supernatural procedural series, Kolchak: The Night Stalker.
