Even though world renowned historian James Holland appears throughout Seasons 2-3, James has stated on his Podcast "We Have Ways of Making You Talk" that he agreed to do the project only as long as he wasn't forced to say or imply that Hitler really escaped the Bunker and didn't commit suicide. He also stated that doing this project helped him fund his research for his current book (as of 2020) "Sicily '43" .
Tim Kennedy stated on the Joe Rogan Podcast that if he was forced to say whether or not Hitler escaped to Argentina, he would say yes, he did escape.
Given the fact he was the most photographed and filmed dictator of the time, no tangible proof suggests he ever left his beloved Germany to flee into a life of obscurity in South America. That's why no one in this show ever said for sure he escaped.
Hitler is Adolph Hitler's last name. The producers didn't want to call the show "Hunting Adolph" because there are a lot more Adolphs out there than Hitler's.
