“Nobody Wants This” does not disappoint in delivering heart-wrenching songs to match Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s undeniable on-screen chemistry.
Rabbi Noah Roklov (Brody) and sex podcaster Joanne (Bell) are an unlikely couple, but the two just can’t keep away from each other. The sultry, flirty soundtrack accompanies the two’s magnetic bond. Heartbreak anthems from Olivia Rodrigo, a love song from Rihanna and even a few bat mitzvah bangers round out the 10-episode series’ soundtrack.
Created by Erin Foster, the Netflix series also features breakout performances from “Veep” actor Timothy Simons and “Succession” star Justine Lupe.

One might consider Lady Gaga and Queen’s Brian May artists in completely different spheres of music. Despite this, one of Gaga’s hits wouldn’t be the same without May’s talent. After the two collaborated, May revealed what he thought about Gaga as a person.
Lady Gaga cried when she got to work with Queen’s Brian May
When people think of Gaga, they think of her as a pop star. Despite this, she has dabbled in many genres, including rock ‘n’ roll, jazz, electronica, and country music. Her first big foray into country was the power ballad “You and I.” It has the middle-American feel of a country track combined with the stomp of an early Queen single. The Queen influence was no accident.
According to Gigwise, May played guitar on that track. “I fell to the floor crying and laughing when I found out that I...

Katy Perry‘s “The One That Got Away” has a title that came true. The song became one of the only major fumbles from the “I Kissed a Girl” singer‘s early career. Interestingly, the tune is about another famous singer.
Katy Perry’s ‘The One That Got Away’ stopped her from breaking a record
Perry’s Teenage Dream made history when each of its first five singles hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The songs in question were “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “E.T.,” and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F).” Teenage Dream tied with Michael Jackson’s Bad as the album with the most No. 1 singles on the chart. That made Perry the first woman to score that milestone.
The sixth single from the album was a piano ballad called “The One That Got Away.” It was clearly Perry’s attempt to pull at our heartstrings after all those upbeat party songs.

Rita Ora has released a fiery new single, “Ask and You Shall Receive.” Raye co-wrote the song, which is accompanied by a music video directed by Dano Cerny.
“The song is full of upbeat, summery vibes and is about seizing the moment romantically, and diving straight in with that special someone,” Ora said in a statement. “It was co-written by the amazing Raye, which feels like such a full circle moment, as I have so many amazing memories from when we were on the road together for the Phoenix tour.

Rita Ora wasn't always sure that her relationship with Taika Waititi would work, though all the signs were there from the start. "We clicked straight away," Ora recalled in a July 10 interview with The Line of Best Fit, referencing when they first met. "We just really connected on our families and our work ethic. It was like there was no one else at the party, and then it was like, 'Oh my gosh, the sun's coming up. What's going on?'" Still, the pair didn't get together until years later. "We remained really good friends, but I had butterflies - it was a surprise, but I felt comfortable. Safe," she continued.
Eventually, though, they found their way to one another, and today, they seem to work well creatively in addition to romantically. In July, Waititi directed Ora's music video for her song "Don't Think Twice," which Ora said "is about...

The 32-year-old singer didn’t hold back when answering a question about her filmmaker husband.
Rita Ora left viewers stunned during a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” when she playfully described her husband, acclaimed director Taika Waititi, as a “sex god.” The candid moment occurred when Andy asked Rita to describe the aura of her showbiz pals, including Justin Bieber and Cardi B. While Rita had no trouble sharing insights about others, she found herself momentarily stumped when it came to characterizing her director beau.
Amid giggles and laughter, Rita blurted out, “Just… just… sex god,” prompting amusement not only from the studio audience but also from her fellow guest, DJ and producer Diplo.
Last month, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in a sweet way — by finally spilling the details of their intimate ceremony.

As “The Masked Singer” panelist Nicole Scherzinger returns to London’s West End this month, starring as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard, the show has found a suitable substitute: Singer/songwriter Rita Ora. Ora, who is no stranger to the format as a panelist for “The Masked Singer UK,” will take the U.S. “Masked Singer” panelist chair alongside Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Robin Thicke throughout Season 11, now shooting (and set to air in midseason).
Of course, Scherzinger will still be seen this fall on Season 10 of “The Masked Singer,” which taped earlier this year and returned with a special episode this past Sunday (featuring the unmasking of Demi Lovato). “The Masked Singer” returns for its regular Season 10 on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. Et.

Rita Ora and Taika Waititi are celebrating their first wedding anniversary in a sweet way — by finally spilling the details of their intimate ceremony!
Opening up about their special day to Vouge, the couple admits that they’ve been enjoying all the misinformation that has spread like wildfire about their nuptials across the internet. After sparking romance rumours in April of 2021, when Ora shared a pic of herself hugging the director, the 32-year-old singer and 47-year-old filmmaker generally played their cards close to their chest when it came to sharing their relationship.
They made their red carpet debut in August 2021 at the premiere of “Suicide Squad”, in which Waititi starred in, before engagement rumours began swirling in June 2022, after they’d been together for more than a year. So it’s no surprise that fans have been speculating about how the couple formally tied the knot.

Los Angeles, July 23 (Ians) British pop star and actress Rita Ora has reflected on what it was like to work with the late Carrie Fisher, her co-star in ‘Wonderwell’ that was finally released in June.
In an interview with People magazine, Ora termed the experience of working with the beloved Star Wars actress as “an amazing experience.”
Carrie Fisher died in 2016. ‘Wonderwell’ was released seven years after her passing. Fisher had completed her work on the movie just weeks before her death, but post-production work, as well as Covid lockdowns, delayed the release.
Ora, whose new album ‘You & I’ is out, said she’ll forever treasure those memories of working with Fisher.
“I’m really actually surprised and happy that this film’s finally getting the light that it deserves. To say I’ve been in scenes with Carrie Fisher, it’s insane. She’s an icon — a legend,...

In the last five years, Rita Ora has seemingly been everywhere: in the tabloids, as a panelist on The Masked Singer, a coach on The Voice Australia, in a handful of film roles including a supporting stint in Pokémon Detective Pikachu and collaborating on a smattering of singles with artists like Kygo, David Guetta and Tiësto. So it’s almost hard to imagine that her last album, Phoenix, was released in 2018. Ora’s name has remained on everyone’s lips—she’s made sure of it.

Rita Ora still can’t believe she pulled together such a star-studded cast for her “You Only Love Me” music video.
The singer dropped the video for the track earlier this year, with the likes of Chelsea Handler, Lindsay Lohan, Kristen Stewart and Sharon Stone starring in the vid.

“I never really ask a lot of things from anyone, but I just said, ‘Okay, do you want to just do like a selfie video?’ And they were all like, ‘Oh my goodness, are you kidding me? Congratulations. Here it is.’

Rita Ora has released a new single featuring Fatboy Slim, ahead of the release of her third album later this year.
The pop star announced that her third album, You & I, will be released in July.
Ora’s new single “Praising You”, which pays homage to the 25th anniversary of Slim’s Grammy-nominated “Praise You”, is an Edm track about the entrancing nature of love.
“I’m incredibly honoured that we get to breathe new life into the song and re-introduce it to a whole new generation,” said Ora, who collaborated on the track with “Praise You” artist and producer Fatboy Slim (also known as Norman Cook).
“I think this record means something different for everyone, but from my perspective, it’s about praising your loved ones and really celebrating those relationships,” she explained.
The singer-songwriter, who has racked up over 10 billion streams, also shared a music video to accompany the track.

In case you didn't know, there's a One Direction edition of the popular Heardle game, and it's the perfect way for Directioners to test their knowledge! If you haven't played Heardle yet, it's pretty simple: you're given the first few seconds of a song, and you have to try to guess the track in the shortest amount of time possible. You get one second to start and can continue adding seconds to the clip until you get it.
If you know the beginnings of songs, this should be easy! That's why we put together a cheat sheet of the opening lyrics to all of One Direction's songs. However, bear in mind that not every song's opening will have lyrics, so you really have to know those intro notes.
The list below contains all of the songs from One Direction's discography - from "Up All Night" to "Made in the A.

“You and I,” the lead single and video from the soundtrack to the Amazon original sci-fi film, “Bliss” starring Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek, premieres exclusively on Variety today, one week ahead of the film’s Feb. 5 release on Prime Video.
The song is written by the film’s composer, Will Bates, and features the unmistakable vocals of Morcheeba’s Skye Edwards. “Bliss” sees Bates once again reuniting with director Mike Cahill, with whom he has worked on all of Cahill’s directing projects.
“This was my first experience with a full orchestra,” said Bates. Starting in music as a jazz saxophonist then as an electronic artist and later as the frontperson for a rock band, all of Bates’ talents and musical connections come together for “You and I.”
Said Bates: “We had the idea of there being a song that melodically incorporated the love theme. I’ve known Skye Edwards for years,...

Lady Gaga is making one final, powerful plea to voters to cast their ballots for Joe Biden. On the eve of Election Day on Nov. 2, the singer campaigned for the former vice president in Pittsburgh. Before diving into her musical performance, she delivered an impassioned speech to voters at the drive-in rally, urging them to "be willing to do whatever it takes to stand up for what [they] believe in."
"Now is the time to show up and vote like this country depends on it because it does."
While the record number of early and mail-in ballots is certainly promising, Gaga explains around the four-minute mark that though it might be tempting, now is "not a time to feel confident and sit back." "Right now is time for action. It's time to muster all of our energy, every ounce of us, every ounce of hope and optimism and enthusiasm, every ounce...

The more emotion-driven a TV series or movie, the more important the soundtrack. And boy is Normal People, the Hulu adaptation of Sally Rooney’s wildly popular novel of the same name, driven by the emotion of its characters and world.
Normal People follows Marianne and Connell’s complicated relationship as they move from being teenagers at a small town in western Ireland into young adulthood at Dublin’s Trinity College, and showrunner Ed Guiney, directors Lenny Abrahamson and Hettie Macdonald, music supervisors Juliet Martin and Maggie Phillips, and editor Nathan Nugent have done an impressive job crafting the music landscape for this world.
“We were trying all sorts of tracks ourselves,” said Abrahamson, who mentioned Martin, Phillips, Nugent, and himself as the chief collaborators in the process. “So, as well as the work that Stephen Rennicks, the composer, was doing, it was just, again, a very organic kind of collaboration.

New Orleans-based band the Revivalists left their home base in the Big Easy to record their surprise new Ep, cutting tracks in another Southern city famous for its musical contributions. Made in Muscle Shoals, recorded at Fame Studios and out now, combines the group’s anthemic, uplifting brand of roots rock with the northwest Alabama’s trademark gritty soul on reimagined versions of the Revivalists’ songs, one choice cover, and one new track.
A mini-documentary directed by Jay Sansone and following the group’s recording process at Fame has also been released.

Drawing elements from jazzy torch singers, heavy-metal guitar heroes, poets, punks, and Pakistani Qawwali vocalists, it’s a sound that welcomes all, yet defies definition.
Then again, Buckley was always wary of categorization.

“I was playing for 30 people, then 500 people, then 1,500 people, then 10,000 people…” Gaga explained, her voice growing louder as the audience in the storied venue began applauding. By the time she got to the final stat — over 150,000 attendees for one show — the crowd at the Apollo was cheering...
