In the episode "The Clubhouse that Jack Built", it is revealed that Bear's first name is Jack. This explains how Bear is able to participate in the Jacks Club when he has been referred to as simply "Bear" for the entirety of the show.
In the episode, "A Fish Tale", Goldie goes fishing for the first time and Bear becomes irritated because he feels that she is not taking fishing seriously enough. This is a reference to the fact that fish are a major component of a brown bear's diet and they depend on it for survival.
While Icon Creative Studios was involved in both seasons, the show switched production companies between seasons. Season 1 was produced by MilkBarn Entertainment while season 2 was produced by Titmouse. This resulted in a one year hiatus.
