I had the pleasure of viewing the stunning short film "Outbound" and meeting its filmmakers at Longleaf Film Festival in Raleigh, NC, which is an amazing annual event featuring North Carolina filmmakers, and sponsored by the North Carolina Museum of History. "Outbound" delivers a poignant portrayal of a life too often felt, by those suffering from isolation for various reasons. This insightful and touching story shows how perceptions change when we develop a sense of community, turning our black-and-white existence into living-and-breathing color. Excellent filmography, acting, and sound. Filmed in Asheville NC but rates with the best coming out of LA. I'll look for great things from Missy Bell in the future. Kudos to all!
