Once had her own clothing line called Airbound Apparel while she was training for kiteboarding in the Dominican Republic city of Cabarete, and most of the proceeds went to the local charities. What inspired her to begin the line was the children she had met and become close with while practicing kiteboarding.
I started kiteboarding when I was 13. My dad was a kiteboarder, and I begged him to teach me until he finally agreed. He made me wait because it can be dangerous.
