Grant Davidson(III)
- Actor
Grant Davidson is an American actor originally from Nashville Tennessee, best known for his lead roles in "The Prayer Box" opposite Dinese Richards & Reginald VelJohnson and his portrayal of teenage Si Robertson in the 2023 feature film "The Blind" - a telling of Phil Robertson's backstory behind Duck Dynasty.
Grant performed his first live performance at age four, and has continued acting throughout Atlanta and Los Angeles, landing his first commercial at age 10. Since, Grant has three series' lead roles and 2 feature films under his belt.
Grant's role playing a teen Si Robertson (a real life person) in "The Blind" offered a unique opportunity to render a genuine portrayal of Si, improvising anecdotal scenes where he entertained his siblings with tall tales, as the series Duck Dynasty portrayed so well.
The Prayer Box' lead role of "Wesley" marked Grant's feature film debut telling the story of a young boy finding hope and community amidst a family in crisis that ultimately brings he and his mother closer together. Grant showed wisdom beyond his years with his authentic, straightforward style of acting while addressing difficult topics on-camera and throughout his engagement with the director, cast, and crew.
Grant thrives on story telling in all its forms and making people laugh. Second City Hollywood became a logical training ground. He performed improv at Story Conference interacting live with attendees to promote the message - 'Everyone has a Story to Tell'.
Grant enjoys family time, restoring cars, fishing and skateboarding. You will often find him sharing his other live performance passion with family and friends & attending live concerts!
Grant and his brother also co-founded the charity "KIDS for KIDS" - to inspire fellow teens to help the Haitian orphans experience Christmas - in cooperation with Mission of Truth. Annually, they lead a fundraiser to offer Christmas gifts for the children of Haiti. His future goal is to deliver presents to these Haitian children in person.
