Kate was born and raised in Australia by her Canadian Father and Yorkshire Mother.
Kate studied film and theatre at the Australian Theatre for Young People, National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), and Actors Centre Australia before moving to London.
In July 2023 Kate joins the world of NETFLIX sensation The Witcher. ORTOLAN -a short film written, produced and performed by Kate Winter is currently in festivals. The feature of the same title is in development with Waleed Zuaiter joining the cast as Tony Beaumont ( Kate will reprise her role as middle child, Jean)
