Angel Rosario Jr. is a Chicago native, growing up in the Logan Square and Humboldt Park neighborhoods in the city of Chicago. He was born to Puerto Rican parents Mirta Rosario (née Pola) and Angel Rosario Sr. He is a graduate of the Roberto Clemente Community Academy, class of 2009, and briefly attended college at the University of Illinois's Chicago campus.
Angel began to train for professional wrestling in January 2012 and made his debut on the independent circuit in June of that year. He has performed for Chicago Style Wrestling, Adrenaline Ringside Wrestling in Indiana, and GALLI Lucha Libre in Villa Park, IL. He is a former Chicago Style Wrestling - Northland Heavyweight Champion.
Angel pursued acting in 2015 after being an extra on various shows such as Fox's Empire and NBC-Universal's Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, appearing in various independent films, and later landed a speaking role on an episode of Chicago Med in its third season as "Hector Ramirez." in 2020, he wrote and starred in a short film called "Clown Shoes", to which he received the Best Actor award in the Breakout Film Festival in 2023. He's since been featured in projects like Paramount's Run & Gun, Panhandle, The Winchesters, FBI: Most Wanted, Big Sky, Cobra Kai, Black Adam, and in season 1 of MacGruber. He starred as "Jorge Padilla" in Law and Order: SVU's 23rd season, and recurred in FX's Mayans, as well as Power Book IV: Force as "Rafael Nuñez", and "Robbie Trucotte" in Tulsa King.
