Producing thoughtful pieces in both LA and Nashville! After spending nearly 8 years producing commercial and music video content in Nashville TN, I grew a deep confidence in my skillsets of making any project, large or small, happen smoothly and on budget. Nashville primarily offered short form projects, which were incredible for me to get exposed to many different challenges very quickly, and always learn to keep up. One winter, while commercial projects were slow, I production supervised the feature Western film Old Henry, directed by Potsy Poncerelli, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. The creativity of creating a full narrative story thrilled me. Hungry to continue in features, I moved to Los Angeles in the Spring of 2021 to begin work on a music and travel documentary titled Anthem, a compassionate look at writing a new song to represent the United States in all it's fascinating diverse musical heritage. The project connected me with Ryan Coogler's production company Proximity and director Peter Nicks; the collaboration was so successful I continued on to co-produce his next feature, Stephen Curry: Underrated. Both projects included a lot of navigating crews around the country, being light and flexible to capture magic on camera when ever it became available. Underrated premiered at Sundance January 2023, to a welcome I will absolutely never forget. Since then, I co-produced June, about the life if the incredible June Carter Cash, that will now be premiering on Paramount Plus January 2024.
