Two more celebs were thrown out with the leftovers on Thanksgiving.

Episode 9 was dubbed Peanuts Night. It kicked off with a performance by the Peanuts characters and panelists Robin Thicke and Rita Ora singing “You Make My Dreams Come True.”

Afterwards, members of Group C — Strawberry Shortcake, Royal Knight and Sherlock Hound — did their best to stay in the game.

Ultimately, it was time for Royal Knight — One Tree Hill‘s Jana Kramer — to go. The other sent packing was Sherlock Hound, aka former MLB pitcher Bronson Arroyo.

Strawberry Shortcake will now compete against Buffalos, Goo and Wasp in the quarterfinals.

Eleven celebrities have been booted so far this season, including John Elway as Leaf Sheep, Yvette Nicole Brown as Showbird, Marsai Martin as Woodpecker, Paula Cole as Ship, and Andy Richter as Dust Bunny.

“The Masked Singer” usually airs new episodes every Wednesday night, but the schedule is shifting this week for Thanksgiving Day.

The 12th season of Fox’s whodunnit reality TV show will air a rerun on Wednesday, Nov. 27 (the “Who Are You Fest” hour that introduced Group C), and the new episode will instead air on Thursday, Nov. 28. That’s right — after you devour a yummy turkey dinner with your loved ones, gather around the TV and watch as Royal Knight, Sherlock Hound, and Strawberry Shortcake compete in the “Group C Finals: A Peanuts Thanksgiving” episode.

Good grief! “The Masked Singer” pays tribute to Charlie Brown, Snoopy and friends next week with “Peanuts Night.” The event will also air one day later than usual, Thursday, Nov. 28, as a Thanksgiving special.

It may have been a wipeout, but surfer Bethany Hamilton told Variety that she still enjoyed her brief appearance on “The Masked Singer.” Hamilton was the latest celebrity to be unmasked, revealed to be the star under the Macaron costume as the show’s Group C competition got underway on Wednesday’s episode.

“I wanted to originally do ‘The Masked Singer’ just because I thought it would be fun,” Hamilton said. “I sing to my children every day and thought maybe I’d get better at singing. And it’s also an opportunity to encourage people, and that’s what my life is all about.”

Among the show’s panelists, Rita Ora got it right, naming Bethany Hamilton — and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg agreed. Ken Jeong though it was Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

Why isn’t “The Masked Singer” on tonight? Blame baseball. The Fox network is airing Game 5 of the 2024 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees on Wednesday night, so your favorite reality TV show has been preempted. The current plan is to air the next new episode of “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday, November 6.

Next week, the iconic competition series continues its 12th season with the Group B Finals on “60s Night,” featuring Bluebell, Goo and Wasp! The Season 12 contestants boast 21 Grammy nominations, 14 Emmy nominations, and 202 film appearances. Five of them even know Taylor Swift!

Already this season, there have been six eliminated costumes across the first five episodes. Exclusive: Victoria Monét and DJ D-Nice will join a lineup of other celebrities at a get-out-the-vote rally in Atlanta on Tuesday for When We All Vote, the organization founded by former First Lady Michelle Obama.

The former First Lady will headline the rally, which will also feature performances by Ari Lennox and a local drumline.

Monét will join other speakers including When We All Vote co-chairs Kerry Washington, Shonda Rhimes, Rita Wilson and Liza Koshy, along with ambassadors Kelly Rowland, Marsai Martin and Ciara. Kalen Allen and Lynae Vanee will co-host.

The rally, which will be live-streamed, will promote first-time and early voting in particular in the state. Early voting ends on Nov. 1.

Others scheduled to attend and speak at the event include Kate Capshaw, EarthGang, Nneka Ogwumike, Reyna Roberts, Patti Scialfa, Lynae Vanee and Lynn Whitfield.

It was “Soundtrack of My Life” night on the Fox competition, bringing performances of “High Hopes” by Panic! You’re in luck, Dawson. Revealed on Wednesday night’s edition of “The Masked Singer” were two eliminated celebrities: Singer Paula Cole, whose hits include “I Don’t Want to Wait” (used famously as the theme song for “Dawson’s Creek”), as well as “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin.

As much as we love watching the over-the-top performances on “The Masked Singer,” we get even more pleasure from figuring out the names of the celebrities competing. That is especially true if we can crack the code as to who is hiding inside a costume before the four judges.

Season 12 of “The Masked Singer” is shaping up to be the most competitive yet. The producers packed the line-up with 17 stars. One of our favorites in Week 1 was disguised as Woodpecker and she wowed the crowd with her cover of “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus. The Masked Singer season 12 is officially underway. Things kicked off with Group A on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Now we’ll get a new episode each Wednesday, with a lot of celebritiy reveals to come.

There are some changes to the 12th season. The first is that Rita Ora is now in the judge’s chair, as Nicole Scherzinger is out for now. She’s going to be guessing who is under the masks along with Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Ken Jeong.

There will also be some themed nights this season. Things will kick off with the Wednesday, Oct. 2 episode with a Footloose themed night. There will be others such as Barbie, Miley Cyrus, and much more.

A third change is the introduction of Masked Ambassadors. These are alums from the series who have connections to those behind the current masks. We’ll need to see how that plays out throughout...

Lucasfilm unveiled the teaser trailer for its “four-piece” animated special, “Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy” (streaming September 13 on Disney+), where the entire galaxy gets completely mixed up, reversing good and evil.

From showrunners and executive producers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, “Rebuild the Galaxy” concerns nerf-herder Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), who unearths a powerful artifact called The Cornerstone from a hidden Jedi temple, forcing him to rebuild the twisted galaxy.

The Lucasfilm mashup of Lego sets includes Ewok bounty hunters, Geonosian Jedi, and even Darth Jar Jar. They also snap together Imperial X-fighters, Rebel Tie-wings, and the Dark Falcon.

“Rebuild the Galaxy” marks the 25th year in the ongoing collaboration between Lucasfilm and the Lego Group. A teaser poster has also been released, featuring the “Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy” logo, a starfield comprised of Lego studs, and the Cornerstone.

Jar Jar Binks remains a divisive character among fans and it's long been theorised (jokingly...we think) that the Gungan was secretly a villain who set out to destroy the Galaxy. That's led to the "Darth Jar Jar" meme which this project is leaning into by finally introducing that version of a character who first debuted way back in 1999's The Phantom Menace.

Today, Disney+ unveiled the teaser trailer and poster for the “four-piece” animated special Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. Launching on September 13, the special showcases the longtime collaboration between Lucasfilm and the Danish toy manufacturing company The Lego Group.

“It’s hard to believe that it’s been twenty-five years since the ground-breaking collaboration between Lucasfilm and The Lego Group began,” says executive producer James Waugh. “In that time, Lego Star Wars has given our fans the unique power to unlock their imaginations and play with the galaxy’s elements in any way they can conceive… and build.”

Fifty years ago, “Good Times” became the first sitcom to depict a two-parent Black American family. Now, Netflix is debuting a present-day animated reboot chronicling the Evanses two generations after the original. Set in Chicago’s Cabrini Green projects in the same apartment from the 1970s dramedy, the series follows Reggie (J.B. Smoove), his wife Beverly (Yvette Nicole Brown) and their children, Junior (Jay Pharoah), Grey (Marsai Martin) and Dalvin (Slink Johnson). Black people aren’t a monolith, and respectability politics certainly aren’t the answer to racism, sexism, bigotry and homophobia. Yet it’s puzzling that this mind-numbing series is how creator Ranada Shepard is paying homage to such a classic show while trying to speak to 21st-century Black people. It’s also very clear why Netflix decided against sending out screeners for review.

In the season opener, “Meet the Evans of New,” we learn about the new occupants of apartment 17C.

The title of Eric Monte and Mike Evans’ Norman Lear-produced sitcom Good Times was designed to be welcoming and inclusive. The theme song was a litany of poverty-driven adversity — temporary layoffs, easy credit rip-offs, etc. — interjected with the chorus of “Good Times!,” setting up the story of the Evans family weathering the travails of the Chicago projects with a mix of pride, determination and a whole lot of dysfunctional domestic affection.

The title of Netflix’s new 10-episode animated Good Times has taken on an almost antagonistic quality, since the first trailer was released and devotees of the original blasted those two minutes for being a violation of said original’s style and spirit.

The first trailer for Netflix’s animated reboot of the iconic ’70s sitcom Good Times was released last week, and the reaction has been… let’s say, mixed.

The original Norman Lear sitcom ran for six seasons from 1974 to 1979 and earned praise for its portrayal of a working-class Black family. The animated reboot follows a new generation of the Evans family as they keep their heads above water in a Chicago housing project, but the tone of the trailer, complete with a drug-dealing baby, didn’t exactly rub fans the right way.

Yvette Nicole Brown is speaking out to defend her latest project!

The 52-year-old actress will be starring in the upcoming animated reboot of Good Times, which is set to premiere on Netflix in April.

After the show’s trailer debuted on Wednesday (March 27), it drew a lot of criticisms from viewers for how edgy and different from the original 1970s sitcom it is.
