Jeffrey G. Wicker is from the city of Natchez in southwest Mississippi. Jeffrey has a B.A. from Central Baptist College and a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Seminary. Wicker got his start doing indoor and outdoor display fireworks in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Through relationships forged in the pyro business, Jeffrey made valuable connections in the film industry. This subsequently led to future work in film special effects and joining IATSE. Wicker lives in the Atlanta, GA area with his wife and children.
