Mark Orr(II)

Mark Orr (he/they) is a queer writer from Austin, TX. He writes young adult drama pilots and sci-fi/fantasy TV using reflections from his psychology background, love of 90s teen dramas, and musings on the burden of responsibility. His writing explores themes around orphan trauma, the messiness of self-discovery, and the search for chosen family. Mark has years of support staff experience on shows at Freeform, FOX, and Nickelodeon. Outside of writing and assisting writers, he performs regularly with a body-positive dance troupe at events in DTLA.
