Christopher Hyde was born in Barrow-in-furness in 1980. He studied Computer Arts at the University of Abertay Dundee,
graduating in 2003 before pursuing a writing a career. His first job was writing a TV spec pilot for World
Productions.
In 2010, he was hired to adapt the YA horror novel I Am Not A Serial Killer, with co-writer and director, Billy O'Brien. The film released on 26th August 2016.
In 2012, Chris wrote and directed his first film, the sci-fi short Red Zone.
