Daniel Allen Cox

Daniel Allen Cox is a Canadian author and screenwriter. Daniel
collaborated with Bruce LaBruce to
co-write the screenplay for the director's upcoming feature
Gerontophilia (2013), based on
LaBruce's original story. Daniel's script One Shut Night was named one
of five finalists in the 2013 NYC PictureStart Film Festival short
screenplay contest, with a stage reading directed by
Peter Kelley.
Daniel is the author of the novels Shuck, Krakow Melt, and Basement of Wolves, and the novella Tattoo This Madness In. His work has been shortlisted for the ReLit Awards, the Lambda Literary Awards, and the Ferro-Grumley Award for LGBT Fiction. He has traveled to festivals and universities across North America to present his work, and has appeared on CBC national radio.
Daniel is vice president of the Quebec Writers' Federation.
