Jeremy Michael Burns was born in Charleston, WV to Linda and Steve Burns, a stay at home mother and a Freewill Baptist Pastor.
He attended school in Van, WV where he participated in several sports with an emphasis on football. During his senior year of high school, he portrayed the role of Kenickie in the Boone County S.T.A.G.E. production of the musical "Grease".
Later in life, he became a certified West Virginia Police Officer and is currently employed at the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office in Charleston, WV as a Deputy Sheriff with the rank of Corporal.
Jeremy Michael Burns began his film acting career in 2013 when he auditioned for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He was selected for the role of a Shield Strike Team Member. Since then, he has worked on several other feature films as well as commercials and television.
In 2014, he married Cathleen Moxley, an Emmy Award Winning Journalist in Charleston, WV.
In 2015, he and his wife started a successful photography business, Burns Exposures. He still is employed with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office full time and juggles both his photography and acting career in his free time.
He is also a Youth Leader at Cross Lanes United Methodist Church in Cross Lanes, WV.
