Award winning composer and songwriter Nate Fenwick Smith has scored several indie films and has had his music air on a variety of TV shows across multiple cable and major networks including ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, A&E, Discovery, E! and MTV.
In college Nate studied music, film, screenwriting, and audio production at Arizona State University and Mesa Community College. He also later attended University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he received his masters in music composition.
Upon graduating, Nate and his family moved to Los Angeles where he officially began composing for film and TV.
In 2015 Nate's work was nominated by the Television Academy Foundation and awarded an Emmy for Best Music.
As a singer/songwriter at heart, Nate got his start in the music industry writing & performing in various bands over the years until releasing his debut album "Visionaries" as a solo artist under the moniker "Fenwick & the Futures". Additional releases by Fenwick & the Futures include "Open Your Wings EP" and "Mind Cycles EP".
In 2022 he also started his own record label Fenwick & the Futures Records under which he continues to release his own music as an independent musician.
