Ondina Frate was born in Transylvania Romania, to Alexandrina Frate, a Romanian teacher and Valer Frate, an illustrious architect. Ondina started acting at an early age by playing in school productions. She then joined a dance company called 'Extasy' and toured with them around the country. She won two national awards with Extasy Dance Company. Ondina moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting and filmmaking. She founded World Independent Films, LLC to produce new screenplays by various international screenwriters. Ondina did a film lab at Sundance Institute in LA and studied at Atlantic Acting School in NYC, where she was offered a scholarship. A newly graduate student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts studying Interactive Telecommunications, Ondina wishes to deepen her knowledge in the acting, filmmaking and tech world. She holds a BFA in
Acting from Romania and a Bachelor of Engineering from Germany/Romania. Ondina worked in film and theatre in Romania, Germany, New York and Los Angeles.
