- Brannon Cross is an American actor born in Austin, Texas. His passion for acting was sparked when he was asked to perform in a school play in the fifth grade. It was an election year, and the school put on a Presidential Debate. Brannon was offered the role of Ross Perot. Some suggested he didn't need the prosthetic ears. Despite the teasing, Brannon made it fun for himself and others and was then asked to give "acting" advice to all of the other performers, including the sixth grade class. In high school, Brannon attended an International Baccalaureate program (which he still needs spell check to type out) and added Theatre as one of his higher level courses of concentration. He fell in love with the stage and performed in all of the school plays. Bored with his college courses, he sought after acting again while attending the University of Central Florida. From the suggestion of his sister, he started classes in Tampa where he studied Eric Morris at the Performer Studio Workshop. A four hour round trip drive; he would continue to make that trip twice a week until he graduated and moved to Tampa to be closer to the studio. To diversify his training, he studied Meisner in St Petersburg, Fl and went overseas to LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts). He has returned to his roots and now calls the hill country of Texas home with his wife and 3 boys, just outside of Austin. He comes from a line of great mustaches, phenomenal receding hair lines, and immense passion for the arts and depth psychology.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Brannon Cross
