Pedro is a Writer/Director based in Phoenix, AZ. At a young age, he journeyed from Sonora, Mexico to America. With resilience, Pedro became a U.S. Citizen through the DACA program, propelling him forward along his filmmaking journey. Now thriving in all aspects of film, he has worked in commercials, documentaries, music videos, short film, and now his first feature film - "Aquí No Es Así".
He wrote and directed the short film, "Toro De Oro," which enjoyed an award-winning run on the festival circuit including Best Picture, Best Score, and Best Supporting Actress at Indie Film Festival. The accolades extended to DTLA Film Festival, Panamanian International Film Festival, and Official Latino Film Festival.
Pedro's narrative lens illuminates the multifaceted Latino immigrant experience. He is passionate about uniting cultural perspectives, believing stories have the power to transform and enlighten.
