Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Regina Ohashi is a NYC-based bilingual actress. Career highlights include The Changeling (Apple TV+), Law & Order (NBC), The Other Two (MAX), New Amsterdam (NBC), Law & Order: SVU (NBC, directed by Mariska Hargitay), Ray Donovan (Showtime, opposite Quincy Tyler Bernstine), The Leftovers (HBO), High Maintenance (HBO), and High Fidelity (Hulu). She has also worked with Margaret Cho and Tegan and Sara in their music video Intervention.
She was also in the feature film "Nanny" (opposite Anna Diop and Sinqua Walls), which won the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.
Regina is a proud graduate of the William Esper Studio 2-year Meisner Training Program under the tutelage of Bruce McCarty, along with other renowned teachers in their fields. She received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
On camera, she is the razor-sharp scientist on the verge of a breakthrough, the judgmental mother with lots of opinions who's funny without meaning to be, and the forensic psychologist who debunks a big theory and is the best in her field.
When not on stage or in front of the camera, she works as a Standardized/Simulated Patient at numerous medical schools throughout New York and New Jersey. She's a homebody who enjoys adult coloring. She is passionate about world travel. She recently crossed Italy off her bucket list and is planning a trip to Machu Picchu for her next trip. She currently resides in New Jersey with her husband, and she gets very excited when she goes to the stationery aisle at Staples or Target.
