James J. Cox

James J. Cox was born in Massapequa Park, NY on November 14. He
attended Catholic elementary school and High School on Long Island and
then went to college in Upstate NY where he first got a taste for
acting with the Schenectady Community Theater. After leaving college,
James joined the Navy to see the world. Twenty years later after
sailing every one of the seven seas and seeing action in the Gulf War,
he retired from the Navy and returned to the U.S. Settling in Pasadena,
CA, James began writing and doing Stand-Up comedy before returning to
his passion, acting for the stage, TV and film. James is a proud member
of Theatre West as well as SAG/AFTRA.
