He plays his alter ego, John Grimm, an actor who skipped his own movie premiere for "Where Moths Fly," and successfully meets his favorite master of cinema Martin Scorsese instead. The film is a heartfelt homage to cinematic poetry and the philosophy that results from it.
- He starred as Ned Malloy in the film Exorcism, a character conceived by playwright Eugene O'Neill after his own suicide attempt. The film went on to win a regional Emmy.
