Dono was born in Columbus, OH. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy where he got his first background work on 'TAPS'. He received a scholarship to Otterbein College. Dono modeled in NY & Europe in the late 80's. He was then a featured dancer on MTV's Club MTV & was in the credit montage at the beginning of the show as well as runway modeling MTV's line of clothes. Dono has toured the East coast and Texas with Ballet for Young Audiences and Ballet Repertory of New York City and has been on the cover of the New York Times Arts and Leisure section twice for his work as a super in the Opera at Lincoln Center. Dono is the lead singer of the band Subculture and the release of their first album 'They' a few years ago got the single 'Call Me' played on 92.7 WLIR here in New York and even nationally on some top 40 stations, and later internationally, doing well in Asia where he was flown to Hong Kong to shoot the video. Primarily an actor, Dono is proficient in stage combat & has done Shakespeare with leads in such plays as 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. He spent almost a year in Los Angeles where he did voice over work for Disney and Paramount. He has done background work on such shows as 'Sex and the City', 'Law and Order', 'All My Children', and numerous films.
