Lalla Robinson is a commercial director based in Los Angeles,
California. She began her career in the entertainment industry as an
accomplished theater actress in New York before moving west; upon
arriving, she began working behind the scenes on television commercials
to pay the bills. Through her crew jobs, she fell in love with the
process of directing advertising and switched her focus from acting
(though occasionally comes out of "retirement" for friends).
She is also a writer, painter, and photographer; and still publishes and exhibits her work in New York and Los Angeles.
