Spencer has attended Idyllwild Arts Academy, and University of California Santa Cruz majoring in Film and Digital Media; and continued to earn his MFA from AFI (American Film Institute) in Film Editing. His films have won such accolades as the Student Academy Award, and multiple Audience Choice awards around the world. He has worked as an editor and assistant editor for over 10 years on television shows, and feature/ short films.
