Todd Napier(I)
- Visual Effects
With over 20 years of experience in film entertainment, Todd has worked in cg animation and visual effects on a number of Hollywood feature films. He has expertise in stereo 3D story telling, content creation, playback, and display. Todd has often assumed the the role of Stereographer or Stereoscopic Supervisor, and has worked for many of the major film studios and visual effects houses providing creative work and supervision. He has also worked with software developers, helping to improve off-the-shelf industry tools. His journey has taken him across the United States and Canada, and has allowed him to collaborate with many talented people.
He enjoys working with different artistic disciplines and departments, and is experienced with the challenges of remote and international teams and clientele. He loves bridging gaps between creative, technical, and executive mindsets as it helps him to be more effective in studios and organizations with a diverse dynamic. Todd's curiosity for animation and 3D imagery started in the 80's, encouraging him to draw at an early age. Over the years he pursued his passion for creating extraordinary visuals and continued to gain experience in stereo production and immersive content design, including virtual reality beginning in 2015.
In 2017, he relocated his family and opened his own studio. Practicing his craft and his passion while helping local businesses and business owners Todd writes, produces, and directs and is involved with photography, film, video, virtual tours, and developing virtual reality projects in-house. He makes an effort to stay active in the industry film and continues to make himself available for independent and studio projects when opportunities align.
