Elise Teller

Elise Martin was born Elise Burk Teller June 10, 1985 in Bishop, California. She is the youngest and only daughter to Karl and Debbie Teller. Elise also has an older brother, John Teller. Raised is the splendor of the Eastern Sierras, Elise spent a lot of her childhood outdoors playing Soccer, Hiking, Water Skiing, and Cross Country and Alpine Skiing. But her favorite hobby was going to the movies every weekend to catch whatever new releases her tiny hometown theater was playing. Elise Graduated from Mammoth High School in 2003, and went on to attend college at Cal State Monterey Bay. She joined the Teledramatic Arts and Technology Major her Sophomore year, and began studying film production. She worked on as many projects as she could in various departments before falling in love with the Camera Department. Elise graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in Teledramatic Arts and Technology. After graduating for CSUMB, Elise moved home to Mammoth Lakes, CA to work for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area as the resorts Videographer for two ski seasons. Then in 2010, Elise official moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career as a Camera Assistant. She began taking as many jobs as a 2nd AC as she could building her contacts, experience, and knowledge with each new project. In 2014 she married fellow Camera Assistant Nicholas H. Martin becoming Elise Burk Martin. Today Elise is a Local 600 member. She works as a 2nd Camera Assistant and Camera Utility on Television Shows, Commercials, and Independent Feature Films.
