Charlotte Radford is an English Actress and Screenwriter. Inspired by the influence of her maternal family, the work of the prolific Moliere award winning British playwright and exponent of Theatre of the absurd , James Saunders. Charlotte followed her formal schooling with a Summer of Shakespeare in The Park with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Selected as one of only nine female talents from a world wide pool of applicants to study at the illustrious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Charlotte was chosen from a host of pupils to represent the academy's up and coming artists in Vanity Fair Magazine. Charlotte made her professional theatrical debut on the London stage as Joanna in The Shadowmaster - Stephanie Sinclaire's adaptation of J M Barrie's classic Dear Brutus. The production was voted by Times critic Benedict Nightingale as "Number One in top three plays to see in London". Charlotte made her film debut at Cannes Festival where she "Stole the Screen " as the tap dancing Aurora in the Sci- Fi The Dark Side of Heaven. Following this , Charlotte took the lead in several British feature films, recently appearing in American Connection with Faye Dunaway and Robert Miano. In edition to her various roles in both film and Theatre, Charlotte's work as a screenwriter for both TV and Film have lead to her writing for Filmmakers such as Barry Navidi ( Merchant Of Venice ) and Al Pacino ( The Godfather). Collaborating with directors such as Nick Hurran ( Sherlock ) BAFTA winner Michael Radford ( Il Postino ) and Producers such as Oscar winner Cathy Schulman (Crash) and Ramon Villa.
Charlotte is the writer and producer of the supernatural romance Can You Hear Me ?, in which she stars alongside Twilight Saga actor and director of The Vanished - Peter Facinelli, for director Simon Hunter.
Charlotte is at present developing a biographical movie for Primary Wave inspired by the life of multiple Grammy award winner Glenn Gould with Bafta winning director Mike Newell.
