The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 adds four new exciting cast members, namely Merrin Dungey (Big Little Lies), Allyn Moriyon, John Pirruccello (Barry), and Philip Anthony-Rodriguez (Grimm). 

The legal drama series returns to Netflix for Season 3, revealing the aftermath of Glory Days' death at the end of last season. As a result, Mickey is hellbent on seeking justice for his friend.

Updated: “It’s personal” for Mickey Haller. Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is bound and determined to get to the bottom of who killed his former client Gloria Days (Fiona Rene).

“This one is personal, because it’s a client that he actually really cared about and thought she had gotten out of that life and out of danger,” co-showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez told Netflix’s Tudum. “Mickey very much is [wondering], ‘Did he have something to do with this? Could he have done more to help her?’ ”

We finally have great news for fans of Netflix's hit legal drama series The Lincoln Lawyer. While the streaming service previously set the series' third for a release in 2025, we no longer have to wait that long. The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 will make its premiere on Oct. 17, 2024!

Netflix announced the release date news on Aug. 21 and unveiled a number of first look photos from the upcoming season, which tease Mickey Haller back in the courtroom taking on Glory Days' murder case as well as a photo of him and Maggie getting a little up close and personal.

Netflix has shared a first look at The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3, which will launch with all episodes on October 17, 2024.

In the series, Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles.

Based on the bestselling novels by renowned author Michael Connelly, the third season is based on the fifth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, titled The Gods of Guilt.

In addition to Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, The Lincoln Lawyer stars Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Yaya DaCosta.

The series was created for television by David E. Kelley and was developed for television by Ted Humphrey, who serves as co-showrunner alongside Dailyn Rodriguez. Connelly is an executive producer and writer on the series.

Fox's The Resident is the latest TV show to trim its episode order in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. 

The Resident Season 3 will now span 20 episodes, and will not return to production this season.

Philip Anthony-Rodriguez is set to recur in CBS’ upcoming drama Tommy, which premieres February 6.

The series stars Emmy-winner Edie Falco as Abigail “Tommy” Thomas, a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Anthony-Rodriguez will play Rascal Santos, described as “a wary, smart and dedicated Vice Squad Commander” who works closely with Tommy when one of his operations might be compromised.

Tommy comes from Paul Attanasio, the creator of Bull and Homicide: Life on the Street. CBS debuted the first trailer for the drama at TCA last week.

Anthony-Rodriguez was nominated for a 2018 Daytime Emmy for The Young & The Restless. He currently can be seen recurring on Marc Cherry’s Why Women Kill for CBS All Access. He also appears on Apple TV’s The Morning Show.

The Daytime Emmys revived the category of Best Guest Performer in 2015 almost 30 years after it had last been handed out in 1987, but a new rule instituted this year could be highly consequential. In the last four years this award was restricted to actors playing newly created roles, but this year the academy opened it up to established characters as well. Nominations for the 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced on Wednesday on CBS’ The Talk, and NBC’s Days of Our Lives led the soapy pack with 27 total nods, edging out General Hospital’s 25. The Young and the Restless followed with 20, while CBS sister series The Bold and the Beautiful netted 12.

Despite exiting The Talk in September, Julie Chen appeared in enough episodes to qualify for a co-host nod.

By outlet, CBS amassed 61 total nods across all categories, while syndicated programs accounted for 55. Amazon and Netflix racked up 49 each.

As most of you already know, a lot of the designs for Star Wars Rebels came from a lot of unused concept art from the original trilogy created by Ralph McQuarrie. The talent behind the animated series is also looking at new unused concept art that was done for Star Wars: The Force Awakens for inspiration on developing certain characters for Rebels.

A recent episode of Star Wars Rebels featured a character that was actually based on a character that originally designed for J.J. Abrams’ upcoming movie. Today we have a piece of concept art of that character that was created by Industrial Light & Magic senior art director Christian Alzmann, who also helped design Bb-8.

The character goes by the name of the Fifth Brother, who was one of the Inquisitors sent out by the Emperor and Darth Vader to help stop the rebellion against the Empire before the events of A New Hope.

Grimm is going to be getting a visit from a very good-looking man, but I can’t say with any certainty that his arrival is going to spell anything good for anyone. This new character, who will be around for a few episodes, has been sent on an assignment, one that we don’t know much about ahead of time.
