Originally from Bristol, United Kingdom, Tom is one half of the duo behind Allen & Payne Casting established in 2021. The duo founded GAP Workshops which had its inaugural course during the summer of 2022. This free course helped educate, support and introduce trans newcomers to the TV and Film industry with several going on to gain their first professional credits since. They gained recognition for their dedication for their work as finalist for The National Diversity Awards '24 for positive role model for the LGBT category.
In addition to serving as a casting director, Tom also works with Daniel Edwards Casting. They have been a core member of the casting team behind Emmy, RTS, and CDG award-winning casting team behind Heartstopper.
