JP Caldeira is an Italian born finance executive. retiring in 2015 from Sony entertainment where he worked for 15 years and most recently served as their Emerging Markets Director of development.
Prior to Sony Entertainment, Mr. Caldeira was principle owner of Azucar Art Galleries based in Soho New York, NY.
Active in the entertainment industry for over 15 years, JP has financed over 150 media projects to over 24 countries.
In 1997 JP founded Azucar Galleries a New York-based worldwide selling entity specializing in innovative and emerging creative artists.
JP is a Dean's list graduate of HEC University in Paris, France, where he also was recognized as an award winning writer. . He earned his graduate degree in Economics from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA.
Active in civic, cultural and philanthropic affairs, JP is founder of the Super Nova Fund, a non-profit foundation for miscarriage and ovarian cancer prevention.
