Creative studio Versus is teaming up with creative director Ashley Champ to launch Tunl, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

Tunl is an interdisciplinary media and e-commerce platform, “where sports, fashion and culture converge,” according to a release. Named after athletes’ “tunnel fits,” the platform will work to centralize sports and fashion “content, commerce and community” through collaborations with designers and organizations, along with an online marketplace. The company says it will bridge the gap between high fashion and streetwear, making fashion more accessible to everyday consumers.

To celebrate the launch, the platform will host the inaugural Tunl Gala, an event meant to serve as the convergence of professional athletes, designers and trendsetters. The event, being thrown in partnership with Spotify, is set to take place during the upcoming New York Fashion Week. It will feature a “tunnel walk,” exclusive lounge spaces for every sport and a marketplace for Tunl’s merch collaborations.

Three-time Grammy award-winning singer Lizzo will receive “The People’s Champion” award at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards, NBC and E! announced on Friday.

Lizzo has been nominated five times previously for her record-breaking compositions and continuous activism related to topics like body positivity and racial inclusion.

“She leads with kindness, advocates for inclusivity and champions increased diversity and equity in the industry and beyond,” Cassandra Tryon, senior vice president of entertainment live Events for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, said of Lizzo. “Her commitment to breaking barriers and empowering others to use their own voices to create change makes her a true ‘People’s Champion.’”

Lizzo released her latest album, “Special,” in July 2022, and the featured song “About Damn Time” rapidly accelerated to #1 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” list. Most recently, Lizzo debuted a remix of the album’s fourth track, “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready), with Pnau — a trio of Edm musicians.

A mother was shot on Thursday outside of her Las Vegas home after a road-rage incident, and died on Saturday, according to ABC News. I had a blast watching John Dies at the End, it was just a really fun movie that the internet crowd will absolutely love. I loved the weird insanity of it all! A fantastic new red-band trailer showing off more of the film's madness has been released. The movie is sure to be a cult classic.

John Dies at the End was an awesomely fun movie, and I think a lot of you will like it when you finally get the opportunity to see it. It was made for the internet audience. It's definitely not for everyone because it's such an odd, far out movie, but that's why I liked it so much! It was different kind of wacky than anything else being made.

This might sound funny, but John Dies at the End was one of the most anticipated films for me at the Sundance Film Festival even though I really knew nothing about it. I had heard a few fun things surrounding it, and that was enough for me to think that this might be a movie I would really enjoy, and it was.
