Warning! This article contains spoilers for Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12, episode 2, "The Lawn Jockey."
Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12 brings back beloved characters from previous seasons, but not all recurring characters will return. The returns of Auntie Rae and the lawyer character indicate the show's ability to bring back fan-favorites. The absence of Sammi in recent seasons and a new line from Susie in season 12 suggest she may not return for the final episodes.
While it was expected that most major recurring characters would return for Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12, a line from Susie in episode 2 seems to dismiss one important figure’s reappearance. The cast of Curb Your Enthusiasm has grown to include a vast ensemble of recurring guest stars, celebrity self-parodies, and one-season staples in addition to the main characters. Consequently, with the show’s Los Angeles setting and Larry’s ability to make almost everyone with a grudge against him show forgiveness,...

Few television series — especially those just unspooling their long-awaited ninth season — would be bold enough to trade on the concept that absolutely nothing has changed over the intervening years. Characters grow, situations change. But Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is not just any television series.
Six years after the HBO series wrapped its eighth season, Hollywood’s favorite malcontent is back, and he’s the exact same curmudgeon audiences love (and his friends love to hate). The Larry David of “Curb” doesn’t evolve, and never learns, and HBO has even made that the backbone of the show’s marketing campaign: This season’s official trailer literally boasts that “nothing has changed.”
Nonetheless, it was a long hiatus, and although the cameras weren’t rolling, surely Larry got into plenty of misunderstandings and stepped into countless of awkward situations during the intervening years. The last season saw him and...

Seinfeld's cast is headed for a long-awaited reunion. Former sitcom castmates Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards will appear together, playing themselves, on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Both Louis-Dreyfus and Alexander have appeared on the series in their own storylines, but this time, the whole crew will reunite for a multi-episode arc for Curb's seventh season.
An ongoing "mockumentary," Curb Your Enthusiasm revolves around the life of a fictionalized version of Larry David, Seinfeld's co-creator. The semi-retired multimillionaire is self-centered and impatient and ends ups getting himself, his wife (Cheryl Hines), his manager Jeff (Jeff Garlin), Jeff's wife Susie (Susie Essman), and others in a myriad of awkward situations. Other recurring performers include Richard Lewis, Antoinette Spolar, Shelley Berman, Ted Danson, Bob Einstein, Ashly Holloway, and Al Whiting.
Though this run of Curb episodes will mark the first time that the Seinfeld castmates will have appeared together in a scripted piece,...
