When WWE announced that they were bringing Tough Enough back for airing in June, it excited the WWE Universe because we know what we’re going to get with Tough Enough. It’s a reality TV show that is a competition where one or more people will earn WWE contracts. In the upcoming sixth season of Tough Enough, it was announced that one male and one female will be given WWE contracts.
Any reality TV show is questionable in terms of what’s real and what’s fabricated. We all know that. However, there’s something cool about Tough Enough because we get to see these guys and girls put their bodies on the line during their training to be WWE superstars. We will get to see them taking bumps in the ring to see who has what it takes while also seeing who might quit when the pressure is on.

As we all know, the modern day Royal Rumble is a direct ticket to the main event of WrestleMania for anyone, no matter how unpopular they are.
Every year, 30, or 40, men take to the ring and battle it out with that one clear goal in mind. Of course, not everyone has a realistic chance of winning given their positioning on the card but that doesn’t stop the Rumble being arguably the most compelling event of any WWE year.
The WWE’s upper card guys are the men that are given all of the hype heading into an event. WWE purposefully hand picks five or six guys to base the over the top rope spectacular on which sets up either a memorable crowning glory or an unforgettable failure.
Look at 2002’s event for a fine example of this. Triple H made a triumphant return by winning the Rumble...

Earlier this week, WWE announced that Tough Enough would be returning on WWE Network. While no date was given, it’s likely being planned as we speak if they were willing to mention during their latest conference call.
There have been five seasons of Tough Enough in WWE history starting in 2001. Notable names from that season included Maven, Nidia, Chris Nowinski and Josh Mathews, who is still with WWE as an announcer. The first three seasons aired on MTV. For the 4th season, they had a different format because they had the competitors traveling to Smackdown every week to compete in challenges that were aired during the show.
The most recent season of Tough Enough took place in 2011 with Andy Leavine chosen as the winner. A lot of fans didn’t like the choice because Leavine didn’t appear to be as talented as the likes of Luke Robinson...

It’s one of the most watched events in the WWE calendar, and the annual Royal Rumble is also one of the most shocking!
Over the years we have seen everything from shock returns (John Cena in 2008) and surprising winners – who really ever picked Sheamus or Del Rio to triumph? The actual spots involved in the Rumble can also throw up spectacular shocks. Twelve years after Maven drop kicked The Undertaker out and I am still stunned. The potential for creativity is limitless, and this year should be no different as the WWE looks again to shock the world. No doubt Vince McMahon and Co are rubbing their hands right now as they plot the next big moment that is going to get the audience talking. Royal Rumble 2014 has some Big characters involved, and I expect it to be a real blast.

Things have been going really well for former WWE superstar Maven, following his arrest last month.
The very first ever winner of the WWE’s reality series, Tough Enough, has recently agreed to take the company’s rehabilitation process which is fully-paid and provided by the WWE’s Wellness Policy in a program called Former Talent Rehab Program.
He was reportedly arrested after consuming over a thousand pills of prescription painkillers.
His lawyer said that he agreed to participate in this program completely under his own will. He further apologized to his family members, the fans, and the wrestling community, in a hope that his current experience could be a meaningful example to his fellow wrestlers and the entire wrestling community.
Maven also thanked the WWE for saving his life, which is pretty rare to hear from most wrestlers.
