Yvonne teaches improvisational comedy and also works with corporate groups using Applied Improv skills. She specializes in working with safety for oil and gas.

Yvonne used to do live action stunt shows.

Yvonne started her career as a professional dancer. While studying with Gus Giordano jazz dance company in Chicago, a fellow dancer suggested that she study at the Second City. She did and the rest was history.

Yvonne worked with her husband, set medic John Lavis, on both "Big Momma's house 2" and "The Reaping." She still had no clue who he was until he went to see her movie "Iran against us." Mutual friends set them up and they lived happily ever after.

Yvonne is an excellent water skier.
