- He went to Los Angeles in 2004 to audition for Superman Returns (2006). He didn't get the part but impressed McG, then the film's director and an executive producer of The O.C. (2003), who got him an audition.
- Has appeared in two Superman related mediums. TV's Smallville (2001) as Grant Gabriel (Lex Luthor's brother's clone), and photographer Jimmy Olsen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
- He has been featured in two movies with Ben Affleck. The first movie was Argo (2012) and the second is Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
- Grew up in Portland, Oregon.
