Adrian Bracken was born in Northampton England in 1949. Even whilst at Wellingborough School he started his career, learning the TV business, as an actor on Birmingham based TV programmes, and then went on to a performer's course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Leaving Drama School in 1970 Adrian toured Britain with Theatre Centre, working with Brian Way, acknowledged to be the Father of Theatre-in-Education. Through the 1970's saw parts in many popular TV programmes Crossroads, (ATV) The Brothers (BBC) Dixon of Dock Green (BBC) Minder (Euston Films) amongst them. Adrian also formed and ran his own successful multi-site electrical engineering company, which existed until 1999. Throughout this Adrian continued to work as an actor on TV and films. Moving to Spain in the noughties, Adrian presented for the Living In Spain TV channel, hosting "Bracken at Large" and panel show "Ask The Experts" . Adrian formed his own production company and made "Churchill's Secret Son..?" a 90 minute documentary about Winston Churchill's right hand man (distant relative) Brandan Bracken, which ran on RTE, Discovery History and UKTV's Yesterday (amongst others). Whilst in Spain Adrian worked as Production Co-Ordinator and Line Producer for incoming TV, Film and Photo- shoots in Spain's Andalucía, also working as an actor on films such as "Bulletfist" and "Granada - the Last Kingdom". Adrian returned to Britain in 2022, and still both acts and produces. 2024 saw Adrian as Exec Producer on "When I'm Famous" (Jon King) and "Same Face Different Lens" (Jon King) also acting in films "Santa School" , "Gabby Ellison", "The Teapot" and "Possessing my house". Adrian's rich deep English voice and accents also were called into use for Canadian feature "The Visitor" (Bruce La Bruce) which voiceover (and film) received critical acclaim at the 2024 Berlin Film Festival. Adrian is working on two feature length films to be shot in 2025. Though 75 Adrian still works as an actor and voice-over artist , the latter from his home professional studio, but still really enjoys the hustle and camaraderie of a film set. His business, production co-ordination, and acting background also make Adrian a much sought after Executive Producer.
