Julia Garner’s character appears to be pregnant with a demon baby in the new trailer for Apartment 7A, the Rosemary’s Baby prequel coming to Paramount+ on September 27th. Watch it below.
Garner doesn’t play the younger Rosemary in Apartment 7A, but rather her neighbor, an ambitious young dancer named Terry Gionoffri whose dreams of fame and fortune are dashed by a devastating injury.
Per the official synopsis, she gets taken in by an older, wealthy couple (played by Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally) into their luxury apartment building, the Bramford. “When fellow resident and influential Broadway producer (Jim Sturgess), offers her another chance at fame, it seems that all her dreams are finally coming true. However, after an evening she can’t fully remember, disturbing circumstances soon have her second-guessing the sacrifices she’s willing to make for her career as she realizes that something evil is...

"There's something wrong with these people..." Paramount+ has revealed an official trailer for new horror thriller titled Apartment 7A, the official or sort of unofficial prequel to Rosemary's Baby. This detail is barely mentioned in the marketing, though it is adapted from the same book that the classic 1968 horror movie is based on as well. The highly anticipated prequel will debut at this year's Fantastic Fest. Julia Garner is haunted by the path not taken in horror film “Apartment 7A.”
The “Ozark” and “Inventing Anna” alum leads the Paramount+ feature which is a prequel to “Rosemary’s Baby.” While Garner is definitely not playing a younger Rosemary, her character does occupy the same spooky apartment building that was the center of evil in the Roman Polanski-helmed original film.

Julia Garner’s new home is not quite what she expected in the first trailer for Paramount+’s Rosemary’s Baby prequel feature, Apartment 7A.

The psychological horror movie from director Natalie Erika James hits the streaming service and digital VOD on Sept. 27. The cast includes Dianne Wiest, Kevin McNally, Jim Sturgess, Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosy McEwen and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.
Apartment 7A focuses on Terry Gionoffrio (Garner), an aspiring dancer in New York City who suffers an injury and moves into a luxury apartment building called the Bramford with an affluent couple (Wiest and McNally). After a Broadway producer (Sturgess) offers her a path to fame, Terry has an evening she can’t quite remember and suspects that something evil inhabits her apartment and the building itself.
“There’s something wrong with these people,” Garner says ominously in the trailer that shows her character’s concerns mounting.

Julia Garner might still be portraying the Material Girl Madonna in the future, but for now, she’s telling a different sort of origin story. In Natalie Erika James’ “Rosemary’s Baby” prequel, Garner leads a psychological thriller set in the haunted New York City apartment building that Roman Polanski made iconic in his 1968 horror classic.
Titled “Apartment 7A,” the Paramount+ feature takes place in 1965, prior to Polanski’s legendary horror classic “Rosemary’s Baby,” and explores what happened in the infamous Bramford Building before Rosemary moved in.

Starring Emma Thomson and Hugh Jackman, Three Bags Full has been penned by Craig Mazin, the creator of last year’s huge success, The Last Of Us.
Here’s a project that comes from the mind behind The Last Of Us and Chernobyl, two of the most celebrated TV shows of the last few years. Screenwriter and creator Craig Mazin has built himself a reputation for delivering quality on the small screen, and he’s also penned a ‘weird’ Pirates Of The Caribbean script that producer Jerry Bruckheimer seems very taken with. But it seems that for his latest project, Mazin is headed to pastures new. Pastures filled with sheep.
Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, it has been revealed that Mazin has penned the script for Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie. Amazon MGM is baaaaa-cking the project (sorry) and no less than Emma Thompson and Hugh Jackman have signed up to star.

Deadpool & Wolverine‘s Hugh Jackman is set to star in Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie and I was not prepared for the synopsis. Let’s get right to it.
Based on Leonie Swann’s international bestseller, the film follows George Hardy (Jackman), “a shepherd who loves his sheep and raises them only for their wool. Every night, he reads aloud a murder mystery, pretending his sheep can understand, never suspecting that not only can they understand, but they argue for hours afterwards about whodunnit. When George is found dead under mysterious circumstances, the sheep realize at once that it was a murder and think they know everything about how to go about solving it. The local cop Tim Derry, on the other hand, has never solved a serious crime in his life, so the sheep conclude they will have to solve it themselves, even if it means...

The Veil is a spy thriller series created by Peaky Blinders and Taboo‘s Steven Knight. The FX miniseries follows the relationship between two women working as spies as they travel from Istanbul to Paris and London, as one of them tries to expose a secret that the other one is hiding. If the secret is not exposed thousands of lives will be potentially in danger.
While The Veil is starting slowly, it doesn’t mean it is not building up to something incredibly thrilling and intensely dramatic. Two years have gone by since a psychological thriller called Apartment 7A – which Relic (watch it Here) director Natalie Erika James helmed for Paramount Players and A Quiet Place collaborators Platinum Dunes and John Krasinski – wrapped filming. Soon after filming came to an end, rumors began to circulate that Apartment 7A was secretly a prequel to the 1968 classic Rosemary’s Baby… and now those rumors have been proven to be true! Deadline broke the news that Apartment 7A will finally be making its way out into the world this fall, as it’s set to receive a Paramount+ release in the U.S. and in select international markets, and in their report they confirmed that this is indeed a Rosemary’s Baby prequel. Maybe the fact that the Omen prequel The First Omen went over well with viewers inspired Paramount to finally release this horror prequel.

Few horror movies in the last several decades have left quite as much a psychological scar as "Rosemary's Baby" from 1968, a widespread cultural obsession among genre fans that has now led to a prequel film called "Apartment 7A," which has long been in the works and finally has a release window.
We first heard about "Apartment 7A" back in 2022, which was meant to tell the story of the eponymous apartment before Rosemary Woodhouse ever moved in and experienced the story's awful events. First told in author Ira Levin's best-selling novel, the main setting of that old, eerie-looking building on Central Park West ranks high among the likes of the Overlook Hotel from "The Shining," the Nostromo in "Alien," and other famous horror locales. Now, we're finally getting an origin story -- of sorts -- with ties going all the way back to the controversial Roman Polanski-directed classic.
