Born & raised in Peekskill, NY, in her early childhood adventures, she answered a background casting call on the local radio, a Troma Production, The Toxic Avenger and was instantly mesmerized into this otherworldly experience. Years later, The Toxic Avenger II returns to town, but this time she's invited to be on set, to ask questions, study the behind the scenes cast and crew, leaving an indelible mark on her psyche. Her continued desire to be part of the film and television industry became more apparent as she moved into her new neighborhood in Chinatown, New York City. Joanna has developed a myriad of invaluable experience in the industry over the course of her 25 yrs + career.
