I have 20+ years of VFX industry experience, with three Primetime Emmy nominations and two Visual Effects Society Award nominations as a VFX Supervisor. I have held various roles throughout my career and have excelled as a VFX Production Executive for Netflix, Freelance VFX Supervisor, and VFX Consultant.
I'm deeply dedicated to materializing storytellers' imagination through the intricate craft of Visual Effects. My diverse background encompasses on-set and vendor supervision, vendor workflows and production management, as well as, executive studio leadership. This allows me to adapt to a wide range of project types, budgets, and creative demands.
In my most recent role as Director of VFX for Original Series at Netflix, I oversaw and led a dynamic team responsible for more than 60+ concurrent and active titles, including notable projects like 3 Body Problem, Bridgerton, Vikings:Valhalla, and Umbrella Academy. I also led strategy across a team of managers and worked in close collaboration with numerous award winning global vendors and top show-running and production talent.
My tenure at Netflix included significant contributions, such as, being a key part of multiple internal product developments and deployments including VFX breakdown, VFX bid comparison, and VFX budgeting tools. I also played a pivotal role in steering the early VFX strategies needed to execute Netflix's International Originals' production team objectives, and successfully integrated them into a broader cross-functional strategy.
Before joining Netflix, I established myself as a prominent VFX Supervisor, forging strong relationships with esteemed television crews and producers and vendors. I oversaw Visual Effects for high-budget, complex series, leveraging cutting-edge creative technology to deliver exceptional results efficiently and within budget constraints and production challenges. My proficiency extends to my prior work experience at Stargate Studios and Ingenuity Studios, where I gained valuable facility-side insights and was proud to work with nimble creative teams.
