It’s not uncommon to see the same actor playing several different roles at the same time, especially on TV shows.
Shawn Hatosy has a role on Rescue: Hi-Surf but is also a recurring face on Chicago Pd. Both roles portray Hatosy as an entitled white male in charge who’s not afraid to bend the rules to get his way.
It’s not the first time Hatosy has taken on roles that depict him negatively. He’s one of those actors who is great at playing a jerky bad guy. However, he also has numerous memorable characteristics as an okay guy.

That ’70s Show is one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time. Although the series has seen its fair share of controversy in recent years, when it comes to its cast members, there is no denying that its impact is unmatched. Having launched the careers of many beloved stars, the series has helped fans find some of their most beloved celebrities.

In recent years, one of the most beloved and cherished members of the cast has been Topher Grace. With the success that he has seen outside of the series, one would assume that he is also one of the richest cast members. However, it would seem that someone else from the series has taken this title.

The hunt for the new face of James Bond has been ongoing for years, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been possibly the most consistent, and preferred actor for the role. A lot of times, it has seemed like the answer is finally within reach in the fandom. However, the tight-lippedness of the producer Barbara Broccoli-headed casting team has completely prevented any update about the process from being released.

As a result, the confusion as well as the thrill of finding the best fit for James Bond has continued in the fan base. Keeping that very trend alive, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, in a recent interview, responded to the question of his potential appearance as the MI6 spy in a very cryptic way. This seems to have confirmed the fear that the wait for Daniel Craig’s successor will stretch on for a long time.

Venom: The Last Dance Box Office (Worldwide): 6th Weekend Update ( Photo Credit – YouTube )
Venom: The Last Dance experienced the impact of new releases in the US and has also slowed down at the global box office. Venom 3 is, anyway, the weakest in the franchise, and facing such big releases at the cinemas has further negatively impacted its overall performance. However, it got a few days before the big three dropped—Wicked, Moana 2, and Gladiator II. Scroll below for the film’s latest box office update.
It was directed by Kelly Marcel, who was also part of the previous two films. Marcel was involved with the film writing process. Even though it is not earning as much as the first film, it has not suffered a tragic fate like Joker 2. The film failed miserably and is one of the biggest box office disappointments of the year.

Would you ever consider going undercover in a prison without a surefire way out?
Well, that’s just what Robyn and Mel did in their attempt to track down a missing inmate.
Needless to say, things got a little dicey on the inside, putting them both in danger. Shocker!
(Michael Greenberg/CBS)
The Equalizer Season 5 Episode 6 was filled with action, which was a nice change of pace. What else could you expect when Robyn and Mel took such a chance?
It was an hour filled with suspense as they pulled off their roles — Robyn as a prisoner and Mel as a guard. If I’m ever in the situation, please give me the guard role!

There's no doubt that 2024 was an excellent year for Netflix movies. No matter what your favorite kind of movie is, whether it's romantic comedies or action movies or award seasons dramas, the streaming service had something for everyone. As usual, Netflix looks to keep that tradition alive in 2025 with some of its best movies yet coming down the pipeline.
Prior to the ball dropping on the new year, Netflix had already went ahead and announced release dates for some of its most exciting new movies that will be kicking off 2025 in style. Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx team up in the action-comedy Back in Action in January, while Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt fire up spring with the Russo Brother's sci-fi blockbuster The Electric State in March.

Like Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage before it, Venom: The Last Dance doesn't exactly have the strongest of scripts.
Plot holes aren't hard to find; for example, why after doing his best to avoid transforming would Venom then do so just for a dance with Mrs. Chen? (resulting in the Xenophage nearly killing them and his and Eddie Brock's eventual capture).
Still, fans were quick to pick up on the fact the threequel made a point of establishing that Detective Pat Mulligan's Symbiote had abandoned him after his run-in with Venom and Carnage in the previous movie. Seeing as the cop was bonded with another of the aliens before being killed, this surely means Toxin is still out there, right?
Perhaps not.
A list of deleted scenes for the upcoming Digital and Blu-ray releases of Venom: The Last Dance has been revealed and among them is "Toxin's Warning.

In many ways, the modern superhero landscape owes a lot to Richard Donner’s Superman, which made people believe that a man can fly. Although one would presume the film’s success would kickstart a renaissance for CBMs, what ensued was boatloads of unanimously panned projects, and it wasn’t until 1989’s Batman that things started to shift for the genre.

It’s a measure of how long Jeff Nichols has been thinking about making a movie about the 1960s heyday of Midwest motorcycle gangs that at one point his close friend and frequent star Michael Shannon said to him, “Stop talking about this movie. You’re never gonna make it.”
Shannon was wrong: Almost 20 years after he became intrigued by a book about one such gang, Nichols finally made “The Bikeriders” with Austin Butler, Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer. It was made in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic and premiered to rave reviews at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival.
But what should have been the triumphant culmination of his two-decade quest was bittersweet at best. In the wake of the writers and actors strikes, 20th Century Studios pulled the film off its release schedule and eventually sold it to Focus Features, which finally released it to modest box-office returns in...

Tom Hardy Pushed For Daylight Scenes In Venom: The Last Dance (Photo Credit – Instagram)
When Venom: The Last Dance hit theaters, it didn’t just wrap up the symbiote saga—it flipped the visual script. Tom Hardy, always one to push boundaries, championed a bold new challenge: letting Venom step out of the shadows—literally. Hardy wanted fans to see the antihero in broad daylight, something that hadn’t been done in the previous films. And wow, did it change the game?
Reflecting on the trilogy, Hardy explained, “The visual effects are getting better and better, but one of the challenges in this movie was that we wanted to see Venom during the daylight. Because that’s a complicated exposition… At nighttime, you can technically hide a multitude of sins.” Translation: the cover of Night made things more accessible, but Hardy and director Kelly Marcel weren’t about to take the easy road.

Sony’s Venom: The Last Dance failed to impress both the audience and critics and received a lackluster response at the box office. Its next project, Kraven the Hunter, similarly might not excel in that area, but it did manage to impress fans with something the MCU could never nail: an epic poster.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s upcoming film’s new poster looks phenomenal, and online fans agree. Previous posters for Marvel films appeared to be mechanical and held no real creativity, thus failing to create the appropriate buzz, but Sony has taken notes. People might have been bashing the film before its release but no one can deny the brilliance of the new poster.

Tom Hardy is hard at work on his new project!

Tom was seen on set wearing a dark jacket and jeans.
Guy and fellow actors Jasmine Jobson and Antonio Gonzalez Guerrero were also seen on set.
The upcoming series was initially viewed as a spinoff of the Showtime series Ray Donovan, it has developed into something of its own.

Exclusive: In a highly competitive situation, 20th looks to have found something to be thankful for as it has landed rights to The Barrier, the hot time-travel package teaming All Quiet on the Western Front helmer Edward Berger and Elvis Oscar nominee Austin Butler. Based on the short story by MacMillan Hedges, Deadline first reported that package was hitting the market before Thanksgiving holiday last Wednesday and had every major bidder in town chasing.
Insiders say the package had 11 studios chasing it with 20th landing winning bid and while exact details are unknown sources say the sale came in around the seven figure range for the rights as well as for Hedges to adapt.
Disney Live-Action And 20th Century Studio President David Greenbaum was very hands on in the process and insiders say one of the big selling points was a blind script deal for another project for Hedges down the road.

Changes Tom Hardy wanted in Venom: The Last Dance ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
When Venom: The Last Dance hits theaters, it’ll wrap up a trilogy of films that boldly ventured into the Spider-Man universe but without Spider-Man. Sony’s strategy has opened the door to some wild, offbeat stories, from Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web to Morbius, doing its own thing. But Tom Hardy’s portrayal of the chaotic antihero, Venom, has truly defined this franchise. As Hardy revealed, the biggest shock for fans might be the film’s unexpected technical twist: bringing Venom into the daylight.
It might sound simple, but as Hardy shared with CinemaBlend, getting the symbiote into the sunlight posed a significant challenge. “One of the challenges in this movie was that we wanted to see Venom during the daylight,” Hardy explained. “It’s a huge exposure point for Venom. Venom: The Last Dance Spoiler Stills Reveal Closer Look At The Lethal Protector's Massive Final Form
Whether you loved or hated Venom: The Last Dance (and Sony's Marvel movies are always divisive), it's hard to deny that the visuals were impressive.
Ilm has shared some shots of the work they did on the threequel, specifically highlighting the Symbiote's final form in the movie's closing moments. As you'll recall, the blockbuster concluded with Venom separating from Eddie Brock to wrap itself around the Xenophage, dragging it into an acid shower which destroyed them both.
Venom became giant-sized and, just to punctuate his demise, Rex Strickland blew himself and the two aliens up to ensure the rampaging Xenophage could no longer threaten Earth. Eddie and Venom's "Codex" was also destroyed, leaving Knull trapped on Klyntar...for now, at least.
However, it's widely believed Venom survived, likely through the piece of Symbiote retrieved by Imperium at the start of the movie. The Lethal Protector may have also transferred...

There’s a question at play in nearly every spy drama, and it’s a tough one: Can a covert operative be in a truly loving relationship when that romance is built on a state-sanctioned lie?
TVLine put forth the idea during a recent conversation with Michael Fassbender, who plays a CIA agent known only as Martian in Paramount+ with Showtime’s The Agency. The cast includes Richard Gere (Pretty Woman), Jeffrey Wright (Westworld), Jodie Turner-Smith (Bad Monkey) and Katherine Waterston (Perry Mason); George Clooney, Grant Heslov (Argo) and David Glasser (Yellowstone) are among the executive producers.

Series three of Gangs of London will air on Sky next year, and the trailer for it has landed. Right here, in fact.
After revitalising action cinema with the two astonishing martial arts films in The Raid franchise – his directorial debut, Merantau, is well worth tracking down too – Gareth Evans turned to television, co-creating Gangs of London with Matt Flannery in 2019.
A sprawling crime saga, the show follows the Wallace family as they grapple to keep control of their criminal empire. And we’ve had two series of it so far, with plenty of memorable moments to talk about.
The show became known for its notoriously violent action scenes, which are as visceral and gory as anything seen in a big screen slasher. Unsurprisingly, given Evans’ involvement, the work that went into those scenes was really quite something.
The show is now in its third series. Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù returns as lead character Elliot Carter,...

Hugh Jackman Endured Tough X-Men Stunts. (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Hugh Jackman might have been the unbreakable Wolverine on screen, but Anna Paquin remembers him being put through the wringer while filming the first X-Men. During an interview, Paquin, who played Rogue in the 2000 Marvel blockbuster, shared her behind-the-scenes perspective on Jackman’s grueling stunts. “It’s minus 40 [degrees], and he’s being dropped off some building onto his back repeatedly,” she recalled.
Paquin admitted that watching her co-star endure the punishment wasn’t easy. “He got put through the wringer on that first one and never complained,” she said, emphasizing Jackman’s unshakable professionalism. Despite the physical toll, Jackman remained “a lovely, gracious human being,” according to Paquin. Their bond, forged during long hours on set, made the ordeal even harder to witness.
The two actors shared most of their scenes in X-Men, building an on-screen mentor-student dynamic that extended off-screen.

After she wrote the first two movies in the Venom trilogy, the franchise turned over the keys to Kelly Marcel, giving her the opportunity to not only write, but direct the third film, Venom: The Last Dance. With more creative input into the final product, Marcel was able to write with particular actors in mind for her script’s characters. Kraven The Hunter Box Office Prediction (North America): Long Range Prediction (Photo Credit – Instagram)
After Venom: The Last Dance, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is preparing for the release of Kraven the Hunter. The long-range forecast is here, and it does not look very optimistic. However, there is still time before it hits the theatres, and hopefully, it will not suffer the same fate as Madame Web, which came out earlier this year. Scroll below for the deets.
It features Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the titular role, who has appeared in the MCU before as Pietro Maximoff. In addition to him, the film also features Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe in supporting roles. There is not a lot of buzz around the film, and to be honest, Venom 3 is only performing decently at the cinemas, and it might end up being the lowest-grossing film in the franchise.

It was previously reported that the trio were in final negotiations to join the show. The project had initially been developed with the title “The Donovans,” with plans to function as an across-the-pond spin-off of the Showtime series “Ray Donovan,” which was led by Liev Schreiber for seven seasons and a film adaptation. Sony has been making some big moves as of late, to varying levels of success; the publisher made headlines when it acquired Bungie and even managed to nab Bluepoint Games.

Last week, reports flew in suggesting that the Japanese giant was looking to also grab FromSoftware’s parent company, Kadokawa Corporation, under its wing. This sparked an outrage in the community as players weren’t trustful of Sony after what had happened with Firewalk Studios and Concord.
However, it seems like the company was trying to save FromSofware and Kadokawa Corporate from a hostile takeover by none other than Kakao.

Conventional spy-drama wisdom has us believe that fictional covert operatives are malleable masters of improvisation who are tough to corral. Correspondingly, their most effective handlers exhibit sympathy and understanding mixed with a no-nonsense willingness to make tough calls. In Paramount+ With Showtime’s upcoming The Agency, that blend of warmth and gravitas comes in the form of the CIA’s London Station deputy station chief Henry Ogletree, played by Jeffrey Wright.

Exclusive: David O. Sacks Productions, Mark Goffman and Getaway Entertainment are teaming to produce a feature-length film about Satoshi Nakamoto, the enigmatic founder of Bitcoin, with Sophia Banks set to direct. The movie, based on Andrew O’Hagan’s longform article “The Satoshi Affair,” will delve into the mystery surrounding the elusive creator of the world’s most revolutionary digital currency, blending investigative journalism with captivating storytelling.
“This film will be akin to watching The Social Network without knowing who the Mark Zuckerberg character might actually be,” Sacks remarked. “I’m delighted that we have the correct team in place to bring O’Hagan’s investigation, and the events since that period, to life.”
Producers David Sacks and Daniel Brunt optioned the article and took it to longtime collaborator Mark Goffman, who is adapting the screenplay and producing with Sacks and Brunt. Producing for Getaway Entertainment are Damiano Tucci, Banks and Arwen Elys Dayton.

Venom is a wild card. He always has been in the pages of Marvel Comics, but that has rung even truer since he has been headlining his own movie franchise. He's unexpected, unpredictable, and completely unwilling to do anything but surprise us. And he does it, time and time again.
Sony's Venom movies aren't exactly critical masterpieces (all three have been negatively-received by critics) but they are audience sensations, with fans typically responding well to them. They know they aren't high art, but they are equally aware of the fact that the Tom Hardy-led movies are good old-fashioned entertainment. And in that department, nobody does it quite like Venom, promising the most outlandish and off-the-wall adventures you can imagine and, for the most part, delivering on that promise.
The third installment of the franchise, Venom: The Last Dance, was released in movie theaters this October and it (seemingly...

Following Kevin Costner’s success in the highly acclaimed series Yellowstone, great things were expected from the actor, especially since he ventured into Western filmmaking with his 2024 two-part franchise starter Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1.
