- Her daughter, Marina Elizabeth Habe (born February 23, 1951) by ex-husband Hans Habe was kidnapped and murdered on December 29, 1968 in Los Angeles. Her murder was never solved. She was 17 years old.
- Eloise Hardt was the last surviving credited adult cast member who was an adult in the ill fated and unfinished short film Marilyn Monroe film Something's Got to Give (1962). The two child actors who were cast as the son and daughter are alive but both were under age 10 during production.
- As revealed in the book Leslie Stevens Goes to Hollywood by Dore Page, earrings taken from the murdered daughter of Eloise Hardt were later discovered on one of the girls who was arrested for the infamous Helter Skelter murders.
