- Richard was born in London and studied photography and media at Kensington & Chelsea College. His shot, starred in and edited his first advert while working at Molinare in Soho, which was screened on the TV show the Tube as part of an advertising agency competition. in 1998 Richard gatecrashed a casting for Star Wars Episode One and was only cast as a Nubo Warrior because the customs had already been made. He moved into crowd marshaling, doubling actors and as an assistant director, notably on Gladiator, Spy Game, Sleepy Hollow and stood in for Tom Cruise on Eyes Wide Shut, making him the only stand-in for a lead actor on a Stanley Kubrick Film. - Won Aprile award for best short film in Milan 2005 for a dark comedy titled 'Wrong' as producer. Won a Best Short Film award at the London film festival 2006 for another dark comedy titled 'Shame' as producer. Won Best Short Film at the Lausanne film festival in Switzerland 2007 for 'Shame".
